7 years ago TODAY, Walt’s Perfect Pups came to life and hit the road. It had been a dream of mine for years, and I finally decided it was time to make it happen. I remember feeling nervous, scared, and excited all at once. I couldn't have imagined ending up where I am today. I've had the chance to meet so many amazing people, and have turned clients into family. I'm grateful for all the love and support and can't believe how quickly time has flown by. It hasn't been easy, but it's all been worth it! Happy 7th birthday, Walt’s Pups, and cheers to another expansion soon!

Meet our newest team member at Walt’s Doggy Wash! Welcome to the team, Keegan!

Hi, my name is Keegan and I have been grooming for 13 years. I started my career at Petsmart and continued to work at other local salons. I trained in California and Oklahoma taking different styles and ideas from both parts of the country and continue to grow and learn new techniques. I love that I get to meet new pets everyday and learn all of their unique personalities. When I am not grooming, my other passion is sports I’m a huge fan of the OKC Thunder and love football season. I look forward to serving you and your pets!

The 405 is something special. Being born and raised here, I wanted to create a space for mobile pet grooming. Eventually, my talent and passion for dogs became noticed, and I will forever be grateful for that! As I grew, I began to train my team and added more mobile trailers. During that time, I realized the need for more affordable grooming options. So, I decided to open a self-service + in-store grooming. Meet Astrid. The newest Team Member to the Walt’s Family, and your House call groomer!

Hello! My name is Astrid, and I'm 30 years old. I've been working in salons for the past ten years. I've always been an animal lover since I first learned what animals were as a baby! That love and interest led me to work at Petco, where I started as a bather. It was there that I met Walter, who inspired me to pursue grooming. He taught me to have high standards in my work, and his influence stays with me every day (in a good way!). After Petco, I've worked in various salon settings: corporate, private, mobile, house call, and even a dog boarding facility. Each environment has taught me something different, which is something I really love about this job. There's always more to learn, and I get the chance to improve with every dog I meet! My goal is to provide compassion and care for dogs and their owners. I believe that trust and communication are the foundation of an amazing groomer/client relationship. I can't wait to meet you all and make your PUPS look PERFECT!🐾
