Our long term cat outdoor enclosure cats (15 of them) have been moved indoors for this arctic weather. They are not thrilled about it as you can see by the photos attached.

Is there a plan in place for animals that cannot be indoors, providing them with necessary shelter and straw bedding? If not, prepare now. Don’t wait to the last minute.

ARCTIC BLAST UPDATE: Check out the forecast 2 m temperature anomalies for the morning of January 11, at peak Arctic Blast, showing -20F all the way down to northern Arkansas behind the possible coastal storm. THIS IS A DEPARTURE FROM NORMAL with raw temperatures into the single digits and teens this far south!

Some say this could be coldest air mass since the 1990s, and the most classic southern US-coastal storm type snow storm since 2010.

We will be keeping a very close eye on this storm system, but also a threat of severe weather again in Dixie Alley around January 4-5. Stay tuned!

Please know that we are currently closed for remodeling and are not handling animals directly at this time. If you receive a call that seems suspicious or doesn’t align with our mission, it may not be from us.
