HERITAGE PLANT FARMS will open for the Spring April 18, 2024. We will have the perennials and trees that I have propagated over the last 3 years, over 6000 plants. We will Not have any vegetable starts or annuals as we have had in the past years. I would appreciate that when you come out please call Jerry at 405-919-6824.

Feeling BLESSED and very lucky today! The tornado last night missed our place by less that a 1/2 mile! Several houses and barns were lost to the tornado. Drove around this morning and the damage is unbelievable. Saw a grey haired man chopping a fallen tree in his drive way, so I stopped and asked if he wanted help, he said yes please. I went home and picked up my 50' chain and went back and pulled all the fallen trees off his drive, with my truck. What I though was 1 tree turned out to be about 6-7. My neighbor on the east side uses wood to heat his house so I called him and he is cutting and hauling of most of the trees. If you are wondering I have always believed in Jesus and tried to live a christian life. My Dad was a minister all his life, so I was a Preacher's kid. They always said the preachers kid was the meanest kid, but not me, my Dad was also a carpenter during the week and had a 2" leather belt. I towed the line, ( most of the time)!

This is under our OEC night light utility pole. Again sun coleus, and this year I added potato vive outside the coleus. Notice the bird bath with Gold Moss Sedum, we have a total of 5 bird baths with moss around the yard. We also like old wagon wheels, we have 5 wagon wheels in the flower beds. That is Sam our Great Pyrenees and Anatolian mix farm guard dog. The is trained but still he is a guard dog so make sure I am around if he is outside.

This is how we hide our well head with sun coleus and potato vines. I now have a fake hollow rock in the center over the white plastic well head.

I like to convert bird cages tp planters. Just find a pot or bowl that fits into the cage, drill holes in the bottom add soil and plants. If you look close there is a fake bird and a plastic butterfly.

More Gold Moss Sedum, (you can tell I like moss) in a round pot, with the pot recessed in a round hole in the chair seat.

Something I put together, took an old wash tub hung it from a tree limb, added a rock to hold in the soil, planted some kong and regular coleus.

Here are some floor lamps I made into plant stands. I remove the wire and light socket, zip tie a wire basket to the top of the lamp, add some coca liner, soil and some plants. I used dusty miller, petunia's, ivy and moss as trailing plants.

I took an old broken wheelbarrow added some soil and three ornamental potato vines, some different coleus and some petunias.

Our Gold Moss Sedum is growing very well this year! It is a perennial, we have had this bird bath for 4 years, after we purchased it from someone else.

Last birthday I ask my kids not to give me presents, just help me plant the flowers in the cut flower garden. Guess what they all showed up Sat and Sun to plant 86 - 50 foot rows of flowers, that's 4,300 feet of plants, probably over 50 varieties of flowers. Thanks to all 4 kids and grand kids. Sam even knows not to lay on the plant rows and lays in the walk way.

Just made a large order of plants, 234 trays, over 1600 plants, they will be here late next week, vegetables, annuals, perennials and some tropicals. 4 packs, 6-packs, 3.5", 4", 4.5", quarts, and gallons. I will post pictures when they arrive! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!
