It’s that time of year again! Fourth of July is just in a few days. Did you know that more pets go missing around this time than any other time of year?! Here are some tips to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible this year.

🎆Keep your pets indoors as much as possible and try not to keep them unattended when outside.

🎆Ensure that your pet has a well fitted collar or harness on. And make sure your pets microchip info is up to date with any information.

🎆Create a safe and quiet space for them. You could use a calming spray pheromone spray or diffuser and even a white noise machine.

🎆Contact us for any medications that may help your pet stay calm.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns before the holiday and please stay safe! We will be closed on Thursday July 4th and will be back open on Friday July 5th. 🐾🎇

Its officially Cicada season 😩 most of our dogs will likely be interested in them. If you’re wondering if they are safe for your dog to ingest, short answer is that one will most likely not cause any harm. Long answer is that with dogs, they can get pancreatitis when they eat too much of anything that their body is not used to eating. If your pet loves the taste of them, and forms any type of GI issues or appears to have a reaction, please give us a call! 📱🐾
