We offer a clean, healthy and comfortable environment for your pet. We are situated in a tranquil clearing beside a large pond in the country, right next to our home. Geese, ducks, and chickens roam the property. Our facility accommodates 24 dogs and 6 cats. Each of our 64-96 sq. dog suites has an indoor and outdoor run with radiant heating installed in the floor (so it is warmest where it is mo

st needed) as well as air conditioning for the warmer months. Individual Play Times are in our big play yard twice a day

Inside is highlighted by skylights, ceiling fans, and hanging plants. The outside is covered by plexiglass roofing that allows plenty of light in and keeps rain and snow out. There is continuous music played throughout the facility specifically designed to reduce stress and anxiety in boarding animals. The doggie suites have soft, faux lambskin blankets, individual daily nature walks or playtime, and soothing music. Bedtime cookies are provided for your pets' comfort. We have a separate kitty room away from the doggies. The kitty condos have separate litter areas, soft faux lambskin beds, individual daily playtime, and soothing music.

Allow us to introduce K9 Rocky, a distinguished member of the North Adams Police Department in Massachusetts. At the age of two, Rocky has demonstrated exceptional dedication since joining the North Adams Police Department in 2023. Certified in both Patrol and Narcotics Detection, Rocky excels as a dual-purpose K9. Notably, Rocky was the fortunate recipient of a medical bag generously donated by us as a raffle prize during the recent MAPWDA Seminar. We extend a warm welcome to Officer Cogswell and K9 Rocky as they become valued members of the esteemed Blue Line Jars Family.

Last Wednesday, a few members of our staff traveled to BCC in Pittsfield to help facilitate Nero's Law training to EMTs and Paramedics in Berkshire County. Pictured with MSP Sergeant Dave Stucenski and his police K9 Zekk are our technicians, Marcia, Ashley and Christina, along with Dr. JoAnne Ziemba.

Nero's Law went into place on February 15th, 2022 and allows for police K9s injured in the line of duty to have basic life saving treatment from paramedics and EMTs and be transported via ambulance to the nearest animal emergency clinic.

We're excited to announce that we'll be offering a free rabies clinic and low-cost distemper shots and microchipping for dogs and cats at two locations later this month! Thanks to West Oil for generously sponsoring these clinics. For more information, call 413-447-7878, extension 128.

Note: If you are getting a distemper vaccine for your pet, you must have a follow-up booster shot three weeks after the first shot, which is why we are scheduling a session on July 30th and three weeks later on August 20th. To get both the initial shot and the booster, you must come on July 30th for the first distemper shot. Only distemper boosters, rabies vaccines and microchipping will be available on August 20th; 1st shots for distemper will not be available on that date unless you plan to follow up with another provider to administer the booster.
