ADOPTED!!!

Meet Emu, a one year old Shih Tzu available for adoption. Emu came to us as a stray, found in the local area. She was in good health/weight, clean, and yes, she has a long coat but appeared to be well maintained and brushed. No matting at all. Surprisingly, this girl had no tags or a microchip. We flipped through our lost reports and double checked online pages and nothing. We waited for an owner to come forward but sadly that was not the case for little Emu. Emu is ready to make her adoption debut and bounce from the shelter life and back into a loving home. Emu does well with other dogs. She's great with staff and volunteers. She does well with handling from brushing, bathing, and styling her hair. We tried to put her hair up and put a cute bow but she was not a fan and wanted to leave her lovely locks down. Emu is about thirteen pounds. Yes, adorable and cute but the breed requires daily brushing and professional grooming maintenance to avoid tangles and mats. Her adoption fee is $235, which includes her vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay
