Dr. Dorothee of Rivendell Animal Care in Lisbon, NY will be having an open house next saturday! There will be a lot of neat demos including a live gastroscopy ("scope") of a horse, a saddle fitting demo, a VSMT (equine chiropractic) demo, and a equine hoof trimming and shoeing demo with farrier Emma Burnham. This is going to be an awesome day celebrating an awesome local horse veterinarian- we hope to see you there =)

We've been really busy with dental exams and floats this spring! Shoutout to our veterinary technician student Brooke for all her help!

Thank you Dr. Lila from North Star Veterinary Services for coming out yesterday to do ultrasounds/ a blood draw on one of our mares and a Dental on one of our other horses, Tai.

We will hear results about Mae’s blood draw soon. Dr. Lila pulled a blood sample to test for cushings disease as no tumors or infections were seen on the ultrasound which was great but still seems like something might be going on as she has just been acting like she’s in heat a lot and not shedding her winter hair out as quick as she should be. Will update more once we know more 💕💕
