We are aware that the respiratory illness that is affecting dogs has now come to Maryland. We have not heard of any cases in Calvert county. At Sudsy Mutt we are continuing to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and ensuring everything is disinfected properly. If your dog has any of the following symptoms or has been in contact with another dog that has shown any respiratory symptoms including cough, runny nose, congestion, fever or not acting like themselves we ask that you reschedule your appointment. We also ask for prompt pick up after your pet is finished, to allow for minimal contact between pets from different families. Your pet's health and safety is our top priority!

Great day at Hound of the Town with Calvert Animal Welfare League . Harper the giraffe won first place for group costume along with her safari guides Lesley Wilson and Nicole Leech, and her baby brother hippopotamus! We love getting to do creative grooming!

Continuing our education and keeping up to date on current industry standards and trends has always been important to our staff. We will be closed Sept 7th-10th for our staff to attend the Groom Expo in Hershey. We can't wait to share what we learn when we return!

We are excited to announce that the Sudsy Mutt pack is getting a little bit bigger. Our Lead Groomer, Nicole, is expecting her first child this November. As such we will have limited holiday pet services while Nicole is out on maternity leave. Please plan to book earlier as these limited slots will go fast.
Bathing and retail service will still be available in Nicole's absence, our lead Bather, Tino, will be happy to pamper your pups.
On a related note, we are searching for more pet pamperers to join our team. If you are interested or know someone who is please come fill out an application. (Experience preferred but not required.)
