Salty Paws has been voted the best pet grooming salon for the past three years, so we seek someone who can help us maintain our top-notch reputation. Happy Friday, valued clients! Just a reminder that we will be open tomorrow, Saturday, October 19th, for self-wash and nail trims. Nail trims are available on a walk-in basis and range from $5 to $20 depending on the behavior of the pup, and this service is cash-only. We still have plenty of self-wash availability—feel free to reserve a tub, or walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows. We look forward to seeing you and your pups tomorrow for some much-needed pampering.

Saturday October 19th we will be open for self wash and nail trims! Book your self wash appointments now! Nail trims are available as a walk in and is $5-$20 (cash only) pending on the difficulty of the dog. Self wash walk ins will be available pending on availability.

Good evening to all our valued clients, we would like to inform you all on some price updates. This will mostly effect the prices of our nail trims and grooming services.

🔵We have always charged $5 for nail trims because we believe in the importance of maintaining your dog’s nail health. Long nails can cause pain, balance issues, difficulty walking, infections, and joint problems. We understand that some people may find veterinary clinic prices for this service unaffordable.

However, we often encounter dogs that are resistant to nail trimming, exhibiting behaviors such as pulling, biting, urinating, and defecating. For dogs that accept nail trims calmly, the price will remain $5. For those that become unruly, an additional charge will be applied based on the number of staff required and the severity of the behavior. This additional fee may be up to $20 to complete the task, as $5 does not adequately cover the effort involved in managing these situations.

🔵The same will be applied to our grooming prices. While we strive to make the grooming experience as comfortable as possible for your pet, there may be instances where additional measures are necessary. If a pet exhibits behaviors such as biting, urinating, or defecating during the grooming process, an additional fee of up to $20 may be applied. This fee is to account for the extra care and time required to manage these situations.

The fee amount will be up to the discretion of the groomer and will be discussed with you at time of pick up.

🔵If we work together to improve your dogs behavior regarding nail trims and full grooms we may consider lowering the fee. However, this will require substantial effort from the owner at home and frequent visits to desensitize your pet.

Good evening awesome clients. We wanted to let you all know that we will be closed this Friday August 30th and Monday September 2nd for labor day. Business hours will resume on Tuesday September 3rd. He has been missing since the evening of the 25th, he escaped his home located near Myrtlewood lane and East Bay his name is Finnegan... his parents are worried sick and are desperate for answers, they are new to the area. Happy Monday awesome clients. With the 4th of July holiday just days away we wanted to let you all know our hours this week. Self wash is open today from 9am-3pm, tomorrow 9am-6pm and wendsday 9am-2pm. We will be closed the 4th and 5th. The page will not be checked during the whole week so if you need to get ahold of us for any reason please call us at 541-808-0687.
