I just wanted to thank everyone who has donated cash, toys, treats and time to my little stocking project over the years.

In 2016 I was a new volunteer for the Snoqualmie Valley Pet Food Bank. I would sit there for 3 hours every month handing out Pet food to those in need. I got to know the people and heard their amazing stories of how much their pets mean to them.

I got this crazy idea to make "stockings" for all of the clients to give to their furbabies. It is one of my favorite parts of the day, watching my pups open their stockings!

Fast forward, 9 years later, and I am now running SVPFB (have been for 8 years) and have lots of fantastic volunteers who help me. We do our best to hand out enough food (this year has been tough!) to help each client get through the month. We have also aided in some veterinary situations and are blessed to have fantastic support from Salish Veterinary Hospital

Shout out to Ace Hardware in North Bend, Pet Place Market and Love Bug Pet Boutique who assist us all year long! Please support these amazing businesses.

Thank you ALL for your generous hearts

As the celebrations start, PLEASE be mindful of your furbabies.

Dogs do crazy things when they hear loud booms and see fireworks.

If you must let them out to potty, leash them up. Even in your own backyard. Hold on tight. Double check all gates, etc. Being overly cautious isn't silly, it's the right thing to do.

If you are leaving them home, alone, please put them in a safe space with the windows SHUT! Dogs have been known to go through screens.

Give them background noise, TV, fans, white noise machines. And a bowl of water. Being anxious can make them pant, drool, etc.

Make sure you have a current photo of them to post, just in case.

Here's to a Happy and Healthy New Year! Blessings to you and your family
