This announcement is to notify our clients that Bergenline Animal Hospital will be closed for the week of November 23rd due to one of our staff members being exposed to COVID. For everyone's safety we are closing until our remaining staff is tested.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following policies are in place for the protection of both our clients and our staff members:

• We are currently not allowing pet owners to enter the hospital. To minimize person-to-person contact, pet owners must drop off their pets at the front door where they will be brought in by a staff member.

• Please make sure to have your phone as the doctor will call to discuss findings and treatment once the pet has been examined. We will also call once the pet is ready to be picked up.

• The sole exception to the above restrictions applies to pet euthanasia. We understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is very difficult and so we are allowing owners to enter the hospital if they wish to be present during this process. However, in the name of safety, we ask that only a single person enter at one time.

• We are currently only accepting credit card payment (No cash or checks)

• New clients are highly encouraged to fill out their paperwork online.

We thank you for your patience and compliance with these policies at this time. If you have any questions or concerns please call. We are committed to continuing to providing excellent care for our patients in this difficult time.

UPDATE:
In regards to our previous post regarding the temporary closure of Bergenline Animal Hospital, we have established a reopening date of Wednesday, 04/15. As before, to ensure the safety of both our staff and our clients we are not allowing owners to enter the hospital. Appointments are drop off only and payment will be taken over the phone. Again we appreciate your patience and compliance during this difficult time.

A Message From Our Team:

Due to the projected increased severity of COVID-19 cases in the area over the next 7-10 days, Bergenline Animal Hospital will be temporarily closed starting 04/08/20 for the safety of our staff and clients. Barring any unforeseen events, we intend to resume normal operations by the end of next week (exact date to be announced). We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe.
