At 5 weeks they have grown into little dogs, full of energy, playful and fun to play with. Soon they will be gone to new homes to start a new life and make others smile. Woof !! I have 2 available. 1 Male & 1 Female.

Labs being water dogs have a different ear canal shape than most dogs. As a result they can be prone to ear infection or discomfort. One of the best preventive practices is to massage their ear canal close to the skull frequently. They wont pull away. In fact they they love it.

Puppies! Ive been Breeding Labs for decades and having Pups never gets old. The rewards i get watching the their first 8 weeks is so amazing. Watching their personalities develop, their first growl & bark, whos' timid and whos shy, watching them nurse and then eat,taking pictures, meeting other Lab lovers,and espically placing a pup with a family. Sophie & CoCo both had litters within a few days. This wasnt really planed. CoCo & Sophie are mother & daughter.Somehow Sophies heat cycle jumped and changed and i missed it. Max my male did not. So now i got 14 beautiful pups all Blacks and Chocolates. LOL. Woof!!

State of Maine has enacted the requirement that all Dogs used for Hunting or Training MUST have a collar with Name:Address:Phone on as well as tracking devices while the dog is in the field. What a excellent law. Perhaps ethical pet owners should be be held to the same loving standard with Identification. After all a good collar costs pennies compared to the loss of your Dog. Woof

Today IS the day ! Sophie our AKC Chocolate Female just gave birth to her first Easter Puppy at 6pm. I heard it squeal loud and strong. Ive had pups on 4th of July and now Easter. Thats pretty cool. Her last litter she had 10 healthy pups. She is round as a keg this time. My guess is 9. The most we have had is 13 and one litter i had only 1 in it. I hope some of the new owners will have some creative names reflecting Easter !
