Hi! We’re Pup Scouts and here’s our story! 🐕🩵

Pup Scouts was founded in 2019 by Henry, with the goal of providing an unprecedented quality of dog care to his home here in the Rockville/Bethesda area, and moved into their current facility in 2024, where it is now run by the husband and wife team of Henry and Indira! 👩‍❤️‍👨

While other dog daycares keep dogs in cages for a large portion of their stay, often more than half the time, and where their owners can not see their dogs, Henry chose to instead ✨ open the first and only dog daycare in the area that is truly cage free.✨ Indira’s family breeds animals, with a specialty in cats and dogs, and she developed her own love and passion for dogs as she grew up surrounded by them. She took that passion to the USA, Henry and her got married, and she joined him on his mission! 🐩💓

Now Henry and Indira work every day at Pup Scouts to ensure that it is the best dog daycare in the region! ⭐️🐶

We offer a variety of services for your pup! For daycare, we offer a flexible pay-by-the hour system, and for boarding we charge by the night, no extra fees, and you can pick up or drop off at any time! We also offer monthly memberships to provide daycare at an even lower rate for our frequent visitors. Check out all of our rates here! 🐾

Hello everyone! After months of careful preparation (And endless bureaucratic navigation obtaining the needed permits and licensing!) Indira and I are happy to announce that we are finally open at our brand new location at 5530 Randolph Road! (By Nebel Street)

Our we**ams are live and we encourage everyone to check out our new website as well at pupscouts.dog.

We will continue making many more small improvements in the coming future and we are so happy and appreciative for all the support we have gotten from our customers and family, and will pay back that support by providing the best dog care service in the county! - Henry

Hello, everyone!

We are in the process of rolling out a new check in app to allow our customers to easily check their dogs in and out of daycare using just the app!

It is already released for the iPhone! However, for the Android, Google is requiring that we find 20 closed testers to download the test version of the app from the Play Store before we can release it.

If anyone with one or more android devices would like to help us out as a tester, it only takes a few minutes! Simply join this Google group to gain access, I recommending declining notifications when it asks:

Then click here to download the app from the Play Store! You don't have to actually do anything, just downloading it and opening it once is enough, however Google requires that users keep it on their device for 3 weeks. This is a fully functional app, so you can also use it for your dog when they come to daycare!

Our friends at 4 on the Floor will be speaking on May 20th at the Elwood Smith Community Center about leash reactivity and how to prevent and manage it in a force free and harm free way! We have nothing but glowing things to say about Kelly and her team so we recommend that anyone interested in should reserve a spot.

We have confirmed that it is a problem with the live stream provider, and they are currently reviewing the issue. We hope they are able to resolve the situation swiftly, and apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime.

Brody and Snow playing while Domino sits on my lap and watches. This is also a good example of "play sneezing" which dogs do to indicate to each other that they are just having fun, sort of like laughter in playing (human) children!
