Congratulations to Denise and “Charlie” on their new GRAND CHAMPION BRONZE title they achieved this past weekend!
Charlie was awarded two best of opposite s*x behind his sister Belle and one select dog, earning two 4 point majors and one 5 pt major giving him the last points he needed to achieve this advanced level of Grand championship!

The end of the year statistics are out!
Belle finished as the #4 GSP in the breed for the second year in a row! All breeder owner handled!
She is the #2 female in both the breed and the all breed statistics! She finished the 2024 NOHS year as the #1 GSP!
She made it into the top 100 sporting dogs for the year ( #78) and the top 50 All Breed owner handled dogs!
We are so proud of Belle and all she accomplished in 2024!

As we step into 2025, we are excited to announce our upcoming breeding plans for the year!
We plan to breed our beautiful, talented and versatile Princess Belle to the equally handsome, proven and versatile Stone.
Both Stone and Belle have proven themselves in the ring and field. We are excited to combine these two Master Hunters to create a star studded pedigree loosely line breeding back to some of great Shomberg Stars of the past.
Inquires welcome. Planned for Spring 2025.

Happy Thanksgiving from our pack to yours!

Remember, no matter how cute those dogs can be, pancreatitis can be the outcome of too much rich fatty food fed to dogs. Keep those scraps on the table and away from the pooches. May your holiday be safe and full of wonderful family time with great food.

Westminster Invitees have been released!
Belle joins the list of the elite few again this year!
The top 5 in each breed receive a special invite to the most prestigious dog show on earth, the Westminster Kennel Club! Belle is continuing to rank #4 in the breed ( #2 female) and has been 100% amateur breeder-owner handled!
The show returns to New York City in February this year. We are honored to receive this special invite for a second year in a row! Belle was awarded an Award of Merit last year! We’re not sure we’ll be able to make it this year, but are honored nonetheless!

New Stats are out!
Belle remains the #4 GSP in the Breed and All-Breed Standings! All breeder-owner handled!
She finished the 2024 NOHS year as the #1 owner handled GSP! She continues to hold the #1 spot as we head into the 2025 year!
Thank you to all the judges who have awarded Belle and to my friends who have been there for support on this amazing journey with Belle.
Words cannot express how much I love this dog and how proud I am of her accomplishments. It is not often you see a dog be so successful in the ring and in their breed’s intended field of performance, especially with an amateur hobbyist handler like myself. She is a girl who can do it all and has the heart to succeed in anything we ask of her. I love my girl Belle!

We are celebrating the success of these littermates, Belle and Charlie!
Belle won best of breed 2 days, won an OH group 3 and 2, then finished out the weekend with an OH Reserve Best in Show!
Charlie won a best of breed and won his first group placings! A Sporting Group 4 and and OH group 2!

When looking for you next canine companion, be sure you are buying from an ethical breeder!
This chart lays out some great information for things to look for to help you ensure the breeder is ethical. Some information here is specific for GSP’s, but much of it carries over to all breeds.
Ask questions! Look at the parent’s health testing results on OFA. Expect the breeder to ask you questions to ensure you are a good fit for their program and help match you with the most suitable puppy in the litter. Don’t be afraid to ask questions yourself! A good breeder will be willing to stay in communication with you for the life of the dog!
If you need help finding an ethical breeder in your area, we are willing to help you! If you’d like to get on our wait list for a puppy from a future litter, please contact us! We average about 1 litter per year. Our next litter is planned for Spring of 2025.

Final NOHS Stats are out and Belle finished the year as the #1 owner handled GSP! This achievement earns her a special invitation to the NOHS finals in Orlando, the NOHS awards Gala in Chicago, and special recognition with the GSPCA!
We are so proud of this very special princess! She is a breeders dream come true. Beauty, brains, heart, drive, and more! There’s is nothing this girl can’t do! At just 2 years old, a grand champion gold, NOHS Platinum, Master Hunter, Rally Master, titled in obedience, dock diving and more! All breeder-owner-handled trained, trialed, and handled.
