Dear Friends,
As we reflect on an incredibly busy and meaningful year, we wanted to share some important updates and express our gratitude for your continued support.
We are honored to share that, for the third year in a row, our community has recognized us as one of the Best on the Shoreline in the category of Animal Rescue.
We are thrilled to have received a grant to fund Shelterluv, a powerful software that helps us streamline our daily operations and improve the care we provide to our cats. With Shelterluv, we can track medical records, manage adoptions more efficiently, and stay organized. This allows our staff and volunteers to focus more time on what truly matters: helping cats and kittens in need. We’re grateful for this support from Mission Meow and excited for the positive impact it will have on our rescue.
We proudly continue to place cats into long-term loving homes, provide for the feeding, shelter, and care of homeless, abandoned, and feral cats; educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals, and maintain an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.
Animal rescue always begins with a big question: Because not all health issues are immediately evident, we cannot know in advance what the related vetting expenses of a rescue will be.
Consequently, we try very hard to balance the basic medical needs of the many, like vaccinations and neutering, with the acute needs of some exceptional cases. The continuing and steady support of our sponsors, supplemented when needed by case-by-case donations, enables us to achieve this balance.
Our shelter manager receives requests daily for rescue assistance from area residents and local animal control agencies. Since January 1 we have taken in more than 250 cats/kittens and currently have over 108 cats and kittens under our care in our shelter and in foster homes. This year we have adopted out over 210 cats and kittens, bringing the total adoptions since we opened our shelter in 2011, to over 3,290!
We need your help NOW so we can continue fulfilling our mission!
Please consider a monetary gift through Faceook (this donation link) or our Amazon wishlist (linked in comments). We have some special items for our Annual Appeal - although less "glamorous" items, they're incredibly important for keeping our cats healthy!

Thank you in advance for your support, generosity, and compassion!
If you have given to us recently, please accept our heartfelt appreciation!
