Full day of snow had us looking back to some warmer days recently and came across this great clip of Creole wrasses schooling together. Alpha males have the exaggerated yellow coloration down the sides of their bodies. We have this species in store occasionally in their purple juvenile phases. Amazing to see so many in their terminal color stages!

One minute of Caribbean scuba for you! Do you see any familiar species or new ones that fascinate you? We did!

Amazing pair of bonded adult engineer gobies available!. We usually only see these as juveniles and not paired up. Close.to 10" long and they still have some growing to do!

Our Story

Ocean Rift Aquatics is a local aquatics store that features and specializes in marine fish, invertebrates and live coral with over 40 years of personal experience. We also have a great selection of freshwater tropical community fish as well as African Cichlids.

You will find our shelves filled with everyday aquarium necessities in food, filtration and equipment. We are also able to special order any item not carried on a day to day basis. If it’s out there.... we can get it, including custom built and installed aquaria.

Ocean Rift offers in home and office service and installation of both freshwater and marine systems. We also offer onsite private consultation regarding your current system or plans for a future system.

We believe in the ethical and responsible treatment of the animals we sell and we will coach you and lead you in a direction that will give your animals the best chance to succeed long term. At times we will talk you out of spending money if we feel the situation isn't right for the fish, coral or invert you’ve selected. By doing this you will have a healthier and more successful aquarium.
