Henry may be big, but he is actually a big softie 💛 At a year old, he struggles with separation anxiety, and while he is as sweet as he can be, doing anything on anyone else’s terms but his own was completely out of the question (just imagine trying to move 115 pounds that doesn’t want to be moved…) So we have lots of goals in front of us, and lots of work to do, but we’re about a week in to his Board & Train and making nice progress! For starters, walking him is now an enjoyable experience for all involved ☺️ Good boy, Henry!!

Teddy was such a little rockstar for his vet appointment! This was his first outing where we got to use some of the engagement skills we’ve been working on at home & he did so well 🤓 He also loved meeting the technicians & doctor, and was so brave for his vaccine.

Teddy is a Giant Schnoodle enrolled in a 4 week Puppy Foundations Board & Train 🌟 We have a few more weeks together before he graduates, and a lot of curriculum to cover, but good experiences at the vet’s office are a must! During this visit, we made a point to sandwich the necessary needle with lots of positive experiences so his association with the vet will be a positive one. We will also likely stop in another time or two before he heads home for simple “happy visits” to get love and attention from the staff!

Teddy’s family actually lives in Florida, and I had the privilege of training their previous Schnoodle 10 years ago ♥️ I’m so glad it worked out for Teddy to start his adventures with me, and can’t wait to work with his family again soon!

A little Golden happiness for your Friday afternoon 💛

Goldie is here for Day Training today & is doing so well practicing settling on place! She’s had play time with the big dogs, one-on-one play time with me to work on biting & manners, and some basic obedience work. A busy & successful day for her ✨

Please welcome January’s Basic Obedience group class - Hendrix, Maizie, Anastasia, Azula & Daisy 📚 These pups are all working hard on their new skills & everyone is making great progress so far!

Handsome Brew 🖤 just started his private lessons last week & he’s already rocking it! 🤩

His first session we focused on manners, learning to settle on-leash, and his foundation obedience exercises. This week we were able to add in some heeling exercises and impulse control, like waiting permission to exit external doors 🌟

Brew’s mom Emma is doing a fantastic job with their homework, and it really shows! 🥳
