The ACVO®/Epicur Service Animal Volunteer Eye Screening is a philanthropic event that provides free, ocular screening eye exams to qualified Service & Working Animals each May. These exams are provided by those members of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists® who choose to participate and volunteer their time and resources. The program benefits formally trained working animals who selflessly care for us all. Registration is open April 1st - 30th annually. Approximately 8,000 eye exams are provided across the United States of America, Canada, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Spain, and the United Kingdom each May.

Registration is now available through April 30th.

Super excited to be a part of the gator fam!

I want to thank each and every one of you that took your time to apply to our model search. This is my least favorite thing about being a shop owner - knowing I disappointed anyone who isn’t chosen this time. I notice all of you, I promise I do. I notice every message, comment, share and I appreciate them all. Every year I’ve added more accounts a few months after the search, the ones that stick with me and continue our friendship/support after the model search is over, so I promise you I do see you and I do see the support and love you show me❤️

Orio says 18 more sleeps until !
Today I traveled with the sprites to Atlanta for a Windsprite meet up! It’s pure joy watching sighthounds run together, like poetry in motion. They had a blast, we had good company, and now we are just relaxing at the hotel. I can’t wait to try and get some chick photos this week! So be prepared for chicken photos! 🙌

Where’s your dog’s favorite place to be? Is it at home or at your local pet store? Orio enjoys many different places, like the beach or on the trail, but one of her favorite places that may be a little out of the ordinary is the fire station! She’s been visiting fire stations since the day we brought her home and she’s always been so comfortable there! She’s quick to jump on the trucks and investigate the grills. She’s also really good at finding any of the loose tennis or pickle balls and dropping them in a firefighter’s lap. Of course they always end up throwing it for her.

So where is a unique place your dog is comfortable? And if your dog is only super comfortable at home, that’s okay too. Every dog is different. 🫶

Good thing we love our military and our libraries! An 8am therapy visit to the navy library was in order and Orio delivered! Four librarians enjoyed 40 minutes learning all about Orio, Dalmatians, their health problems, why they are fire dogs, and whatever other random things I could come up with in between oo-ing and aww-ing over her 😂 She had lots of fun at the library before they opened. 🫶

Please please can you do something fun with me?! Orio was so excited to go to the navy base today for a therapy visit. She loves visiting them during their lunch hour. She was all decked out in her 101 Dalmatians gear and looked so cute! Today’s weather is beyond perfect too! How’s the weather where you are? It’s currently 75 and not a cloud in the sky. 😍

Sassy Woof 101 Dalmatians line coming out March 13!!! We actually got the full sets when we went to visit them in January and I’ve been waiting to show them off! Now I have four Dalmatians 😂 The harnesses are adorable!

When you’re on the go but you just want ”5 more minutes”. Today we are at a rally trial up in Pittsburgh. Yesterday we played C-WAGS Rally and Hip Hop made me so proud. He doesn’t even know the word heel, and I’ve never pushed him to love rally. He’s extremely spatially sensitive and I’ve just let him enjoy his space. But he did so good playing some rally games yesterday even though he has no idea how to formally do it. Hopefully I’ll get today’s runs on video. I only brought Hip Hop this trip to make things easier so he gets to do all the things.

Have you ever done anything with your dog where they had no clue what you wanted but they entertained you anyways? 😂 Love our four legged friends.
