“Took me 5 grooming locations to finally find the ONE for my cavapoo! Carrie picks her up on the way (it’s like a little school bus in the back seat) from my house to her appointment and drives her back home in the “school bus” so it doesn’t interrupt my day. This groomer uses a special technique that doesn’t involve shaving. Instead, they have a unique demat system. It’s a free range facility so your dog isn’t shoved in a crate and they can all play together! Love this place!”

Hi there!

My name is Leah and you might recognize me as the girl giving your pup tummy rubs and nose kisses. I’m 26 years old and absolutely fell in love with this career in dog grooming after learning to groom my doodle at home during the pandemic. I have always had a passion for animals, dogs in particular, and a drive to be creative.

Working at the The Dog Wash is fantastic because it allows me to bond and build trust with the dogs in a low stress environment and harness my artistic abilities through a good ‘ol haircut, all while being surrounded by amazing people! Outside of the salon, you can find me on a run around Park Circle, trying to find the next best happy hour, or cozied up enjoying a movie!
