Our flooring project has officially been completed!!
From our lobby, exam rooms, treatment area, x-ray, dog and cat wards to our surgery suite, everything looks amazing.

We will reopen tomorrow for our regular business hours as long as we are up and running.

‼️ Exciting news for our North Conway location! We will be getting our floors upgraded next week ‼️

That being said, we will be closed for the first part of this project while the current floors are being ripped out. The dates we will be closed will be Monday April 8th - Wednesday April 10th.

We will reopen Thursday April 11th for curb side appointments only, as our flooring team will still be working in the building.

If you need to pick up food or medications, or you have an appointment during this time frame, please give us a call when you arrive and we will have one of our staff members come out to you.

We expect to open back up for in hospital appointments as usual by Wednesday April 17th.

This project does not affect our Gorham location and they will be open during their regular business hours.

With the holiday rapidly approaching, all of us here at North Country Animal Hospital wish our amazing clients and furry patients a Happy Thanksgiving 🍁 ❤️!! It is a time for expressing gratitude, spending time with loved ones (including our pets) and enjoying amazing food.

To ensure a happy and safe Thanksgiving for everyone involved, it is essential to be mindful of the food being given to our pets and guests coming and going throughout the holiday.

Tomorrow kicks off !!!
I wanted to start by shouting out to the best team and sharing how lucky we all are to be a unicorn hospital that gets along like family.

If you have an appointment this week, our board in the lobby will have some note paper and a pen if you’d like to share a story or heartfelt messages to our team. ❤️ We would love to show our staff how much of a difference they make and that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

Starting with Amy, she has been an incredible role model for every tech and assistant that enters the doors of North Country Animal Hospital. She has shown us what a true leader looks like and her compassion for animal medicine is unmatched. We would not be where we are as a team without her.

Autumn and Katrina are our star technicians that consistently work their butt off to make sure everything runs smoothly. They travel back and forth from both Gorham and Conway locations. They are consistently bettering themselves and their skill level and it’s honestly so impressive to watch how dedicated they are to the animals and our wonderful clients.

Becca will be hitting her 1 year anniversary at North Country in February, but you would never know it. I have watched her make bounds and leaps into vet med, never stopping even on our hardest days, we all feel so proud to have her as a teammate. She is so connected to her patients and their families and will do anything to make her patients feel safe and as little stress as possible.

Charlotte is our newest assistant just beginning her career in vet med while finishing school for her technician degree. Although she originally started as an intern, we quickly realized that we wanted her to stay due to her work ethic, consistently jumping in when and wherever needed, and her love and passion for every single animal that walks in the door (healthy, ill, or injured), she’s on it. Although she has only been in this field since August, she placed her very first IV catheter last week and I honestly could not be any more proud and I can not wait to see the incredible things she accomplishes as she grows.

I can’t forget about our client care specialists either. Deb, Elaine, Jen, and Amanda. Absolute rockstars. The phones are ringing on all 3 lines, there’s 5 appointments to check in, and 3 waiting to check out. They are the very first in our hospital to greet patients and clients and I am in awe of them. Being a receptionist at a hospital, you are not just upfront. I can’t count the times Deb or Amanda have jumped back to treatment to help with an emergency or just as extra hands when our days get fully loaded.

Elaine (our remote receptionist), is on the ball even all the way in Florida. She is the first to call when she knows a patient is in need and she rocks her position. Her amazing ability to communicate with us here in hospital makes our days just that much smoother.

Jen is our only receptionist in Gorham and I can’t tell you how many Gorham clients that come to our Conway office, absolutely adore her. Her compassion, understanding, and kindness for people and our furry patients is what makes her so special to all of us and all of our clients.

Speaking for myself and all 4 doctors, we are so thankful to have all of you here!!! 🥰
