With Easter quickly approaching the interest for bunnies, chickens, small animals, puppies and kittens are at a high. We want to remind everyone that they are NOT Easter presents, they are all a 10+ year commitment. Even though they may seem cute and a great gift idea, sometimes a stuffed animal may be better. We usually get a lot of calls for animal surrenders a few weeks after Easter because people realize that these animals are more work then they seem or that their children lose interest in the animals.
We hope you all have a Hoppy Easter, and remember a chocolate bunny is better than a surrendered bunny!

Look at all these amazing baskets that have been brought in for the Easter Raffle ! If you are still planning on making a basket we ask if you could drop them off by next week so that it gives time for people to look at all the baskets and get tickets before our drawing which will be April 12th.

Are you looking for a running or hiking buddy??? Then Gypsy's the girl for you! Gypsy was brought back to us at no fault of her own. She is a 5 year old Schnauzer mix who is spayed and up to date with all age appropriate vaccines. Gypsy is VERY active, because of this if there are children in the home older kids would be best for her, she prefers larger dogs over small ones and cats might be a little too much for her. If Gypsy sparks your interest please stop by the shelter ( 31 Ventura Drive Dartmouth Ma) to fill out an application!

Attention to all of our awesome followers, small, and large businesses in our community. We are hosting our 7th Easter Basket Extravaganza on Saturday April 12th and we are hoping for any kind of donation(s) to put in our Easter Baskets or if you would like to put together your own basket for us to raffle off to help raise money for all our homeless shelter animals.
