With summer coming along and with the heat wave we are getting this week, please please please be mindful of your pets. Do not leave your animals in the car even if your just running into the store for a minute. It takes 6 minutes for a dog to overheat in a car. Try to limit exercise with your pets outside, if you and your pet are outside make sure that there is adequate shade so they don't over heat and make sure that their is plenty of water available to them and yourself to stay hydrated! Have a happy and safe summer!! ☀️🏖

Are you or someone you know looking to fill up your community hours? We are looking for volunteers for our kids camp coming up. Volunteers will help out with the kids with their crafts, handling the animals, and sitting with them during the guest speakers. Volunteers need to be at least 16 years of age with an up to date tetanus shot. We do also run a cori check as well.
If you are interested in coming to volunteer during our kids camp(dates listed below) come on down to fill out some paperwork.
Kids camp dates are,
July 8th-12th.
July 22nd-26th
August 5th-9th
August 12th-16th
Volunteers hours for the camp are 9am to 2pm to help set up before the kids arrive and then to help clean up after the kids have left.

Everyone meet Koda! He is a 1 1/2 year old Husky. Koda is the biggest goofball you'll meet! He's good with kids but we do suggest older children since he doesn't realize how big he really is and is still working on manners. Koda would do best with an active family with a fenced in yard since he is a very active dog. Koda enjoys playing, going on walks, and laying in the pool! He is your typical husky who loves to sing as well. If your interested in adopting koda come on in and fill out an application.

Everyone meet Nemo! He is a 5 month old Pomeranian mix. Nemo is a super active, clumsy, and goofy puppy! There is no way you wont fall in love with him the second you meet him. He is good with other dogs and kids, we aren't sure how he is with cats yet.

We thought we would post an update on our little fighter Nina. Nina experienced a major setback when her intestines broke through her abdominal wall. We are happy to report that after a second surgery and some much needed recovery time, she is on the mend...again! She is feeling so much better and beginning to act like a normal dog. She has a new found love of toys and plays like a puppy! We cannot say enough thank you's for the generosity of all of you that donated. We have two approved adoptions for her and we are hoping to see which one will be the best fit within the next couple of weeks!

It is that time of year again..... its kitten season!! We are in need of KMR kitten formula. Any donation of KMR kitten formula or kitten food would be greatly appreciated.

These kittens are not available for adoption yet and we are also not taking any applications on them at this time.

We have a bunch of adult cats and kittens available for adoption. Please feel free to share with your friends and family, they might be interested in adopting. Older cats usually get over looked at the shelters because most people want a kitten. Older cats are full of love and purrs and just looking for a lap to lay on in their furever homes, so please take in consideration into adoption an older cat.
