Kiosk Kitty Alert

Bel Air Petco- Riff and Spaghetti!

🐾❤️ Riff is approximately 10 weeks old and has the most heartbreaking meow! Riff was a party of 5, but all his siblings have been adopted, and now he’s at Petco waiting for his purrfect family to find him. Riff loves to play with other kitties, and would do well in a house with other cats, or all by himself!

😻🍝 Spaghetti is about 4 months old and looking for his furrever family. This sweet boy was found with his siblings outdoors, and was brought inside to live the good life with his foster family! Spaghetti is a little shy at first, but is easily bribed with churus and string toys! Spaghetti loves other cats, but would be okay as an only kitty.

💙💙Meet the O kitties: Olivia and Oliver! These sweet siblings are approx 4 months old and on the hunt for the purrfect family! The O kittens love to play and are super cuddly when they’re all tired out!

🍓🐾 Meet Strawberry- this is the only girl of her litter of 6! Strawberry is a shy girl that loves other cats, but is just learning to trust her human friends! Strawberry is looking for a family that understands she’s shy, but once she feels comfortable will be ready to snuggle and play!

🐾🐾 We have 2 of the sweetest young mamas in our Northeast Petco this week! Meet New Moon 🌙 and Rose 🌹! Both of these sweet girls had their kittenhood cut short and just finished caring for their sweet babies! These beautiful girls are approximately 1-2 years old and searching for their furrever homes! 🚨🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨🚨

In a stunning turn of events, MeowMeow has withdrawn from the race! Instead of being Shelter President, this fabulous feline is going to be king of his very own castle- MeowMeow has been adopted!!

Although MeowMeow won’t miss living with other cats, he will certainly be missed by ALL the shelter volunteers! His running mate, Whopper, vows to carry on the party platform- maintaining super tight border security and working to increase the amount of servants (volunteers!) at the shelter ❤️🐾

Favorite Activities: Lounging on her throne (a cozy cat tree), supervising volunteers, and accepting royal pets from her loyal subjects.
Personality: With an air of elegance and poise, Bee commands attention wherever she goes. She is confident, sassy, and knows she deserves the best. When she’s not ruling her kingdom, she enjoys gentle playtime and basking in the sun.
Special Skills: Expert at charming visitors with her captivating gaze, beautiful long fur and purring like a royal engine when she’s content.
Fun Fact: Bee once hosted a “paw-ty” for the other shelter cats, complete with treats and feather toys, proving she’s not just a queen, but a benevolent ruler. 👑 (It was a birthday pawty for another shelter cat but Bee doesn’t have to know that…)

✨ Candidate Spotlight ✨

🌱💚 Meet the leaders of the Green Party- James Bond and Titan!

James Bond is handsome, dapper gentleman that spends his days lounging in the cabana. Despite his laid back, lounging demeanor, he’s always dressed in the finest tuxedo! This senior gentleman spent most of his life outdoors and has much respect for the fruits of the earth, specifically cat nip, sometimes know on the streets as Meowijuana.

Titan is a young gentleman that has recently joined the shelter with his brother, Toulouse. Titan is bit shy and has a permanent look of surprise on his face that makes him look truly adorable. His surprised face, and skittish demeanor makes you wonder if maybe he’s been hitting the cat nip a little too hard??

If elected James Bond and Titan have elaborate plans to cultivate a cat nip garden to bring in revenue for the shelter. Top of the agenda for party is to raise enough money to build a catio for the main shelter! These fellas would like nothing more than to lounge on a catio and watch their servants (volunteers) work hard in the garden! And of course there would be free unlimited munchies for all cats!

✨Candidate Spotlight ✨

Meet the leaders of the treat party!
These two are about as simple as you can get….treats, treats and more treats!!

Bobby is one of the most social seniors you will ever meet, he is one of the first to greet you when you walk in the room. You can usually find him by the food bowl or sleeping on a cardboard cat scratcher.

Sammy is the talk of the town. He loves all people and cats. You can usually find him with his head in an open treat container or destroying a roll of paper towels that was left out.

If elected, Bobby and Sammy promise to make sure the shelter has an endless supply of treats and will campaign for free vet visits. Which would really come in handy since Bobby (and three others!) have a dental coming up next month. 🦷

They both promise to recruit more volunteers with their sweet and outgoing personalities. They would both be perfect cats for any family!

🌟 Candidate Spotlight 🌟

🚫🐶 Meet the leaders of the Anti Dog Party: MeowMeow and Whopper! While these two candidates are anti dog, and anti cat, they are most certainly pro human!

🚧🚧 MeowMeow, a senior member of the party, takes shelter border security very seriously, always maintaining his position in the foyer to ensure only approved visitors come and go! MeowMeow currently holds the title of Speaker of the Shelter making sure his voice is always heard!

🧡🇺🇸 Whopper is a young, up and coming member of the party! Her natural leadership skills recently resulted in a kitty insurrection- she led a group of cats to storm the shelter and bust a few screens out. Four cats escaped, luckily they all quickly realized the mean streets of Northeast are no place for kitties, and quickly returned to the shelter after their adventures.

🐾 If elected MeowMeow and Whopper will work hard to keep out all unwelcome animals (especially dogs!) and attract many more human volunteers with their signature (loud!) meows and sassy attitudes!

Meet the Peace Party!! These guys are all about love, love, love. They are very simple guys and as long as they have their comfy spots and people to love on they are overjoyed ♥️
All Timber needs in life is fluffy blankets to keep fulfilling his biscuit orders. He may look like a mini panther, but don’t let that fool you, he is the sweetest and most gentle cat.

All Misfit needs in life is a lot of activity because he is SO nosey. If anything is going on he has to be the first one to investigate. New cat coming in? He’s the first walking to the carrier. Giving vaccines on the exam table? You know he’s going to jump up and try to help. Preparing dinner for the cats? He takes it upon himself to taste test each plate.

If elected they promise to use their cute faces to beg for the softest blankets so each shelter cat can have their own and make sure all new shelter residents and volunteers are greeted with Timber’s squeaky meow and Misfit’s curiosity ♥️

🐾🌺 Sweet Petunia found herself abandoned at a pet store when her family fell on rough times. Luckily for Petunia, the great employees knew that CFA would take this sweet girl and find her a new furrever family! Petunia is approximately 4 years old, and is a certified cuddle bug. She’s a bit shy, loves her foster humans, but hasn’t quite decided on how she feels about the 4 resident kitties in her foster home! Petunia is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on vaccines! Meet James Bond 🐈‍⬛ This handsome senior came to us from a colony where some people started to set the friendly cats on fire 🤬🤬🤬 It’s safe to say that James Bond’s life outside has been anything but easy, so he is ready to enjoy the carefree indoor cat life. James absolutely loves people and is so easy to handle. He wants nothing more than your undivided attention. He does not like other cats, so he would need to be an only cat. But he will give you enough love to make up for 4 cats ♥️ James is approximately 9 years old, neutered, UTD on all vaccines, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. Today marks 2 years at the shelter for our sweet Wander and we really don’t know why 😔 Wander gets along so well with all of the other cats at the shelter; he is a little shy, but if you walk up to him and start petting him he will instantly melt. He’s such a sweet and gentle soul that just wants a little patience and a whole lot of love 💙 Wander is about 3-4 years old, neutered, and UTD on all vaccines. We desperately need a foster or adopter for our sweet Suzie Q. Suzie has been with us for over three years and she truly has the most gentle soul. She is so patient and will always wait for her turn for treats and pets. Suzie needs a mainly wet food diet, and at a free roam shelter like ours that is almost impossible to do. Suzie Q is a simple girl and would love a quiet home to relax in and watch the birds. She is about 8 years old and melts once you start petting her. You can’t meet Suzie Q and not fall in love with her ♥️ If you are not in a position to bring her home, please share and help us find the perfect spot for her! *Volume up for the sweetest purrs* Titan and Toulouse just turned one, which means that they’ve aged out of foster care and it’s time for them to go to the shelter. They’ve been in a home for most of their young lives, so we would hate to see that happen. When they get let out of the foster room every morning, the first thing they do is jump up and lay down on the bed 😭 Toulouse is a polydactyl and he basically resembles a dinosaur…this guy is HUGE, but he is so sweet and always comes up to his foster mom for pets. He has the most unique purr that sounds just like a bird. He’s had some interest before, but was ultimately passed over because he was too big of a cat 😔 Titan is the fluffiest boy who has a constant expression of shock on his face, he does not have a care in the world and simply just exists 🤣 He loves string and spring toys! Titan and Toulouse are both great with other cats…their foster room consists of constant head butts and purrs. However, they do not like to be picked up at all, so we would not recommend them for a home with young children. Once these guys know you they will be your best friend, but that will take time and patience. They’ve been in their current foster home for 8 months, so a new environment and new people will be quite the adjustment for them. But, we promise you they will be worth it…these guys are hilarious and once they feel comfortable they will walk around your house like they own the place 🤣 Titan and Toulouse are NOT bonded, obsessed with wet food, even more obsessed with churus, one year old, neutered and up to date on all vaccines. Update: Missy has been adopted 🎉 We have the most perfect little lap cat ♥️ Missy is the sweetest little girl who wants nothing more than to be with you. The second you sit down she starts climbing all over you for attention. She is great with all of the other cats in the room and really just has the most gentle personality. She’s been with us for about 7 months now and we really don’t know how she hasn’t been scooped up yet! Missy is approximately 2 years old, spayed and up to date on all vaccines.
