“We had Morgan take care of our pets while we were out of town for the first time in our new home. Our pets, 2 dogs & 3 cats, all have their own ‘quirks’ and can be a bit of a handful. One dog needs multiple daily shots to manage diabetes. They warmed up to Morgan the first time she came over to meet them- which isn’t their normal! Not only did we return to happy pets, but she even tidied up our home. Being new to the area with small children, the extra mile didn’t go unnoticed! This month was a whirlwind between broken fingers, concussions, the loss of most of my flock, our charity poker run on lake champlain, and the start of a new school year.
I wouldn’t trade it for the world 🌎
Okay, could potentially do without the concussion, broken fingers, and mutilation of the flock, but I remain unstoppable💪🏼

They say owning animals is the easy part, but losing them-that’s no walk in the park. We’ve lost the majority of our flock to a weasel. Completely unjustifiable, because they just kill for fun. I’m frustrated, sad, and confused.

I was looking forward to unveiling our new coop with excitement, but instead I am just upset. Two of my ducks and three of my chickens have perished, as I’m in the process of building up my flock. I feed so defeated.
