Another day a happy/sad tears 😭 Excited to watch them grow and develop.

🎉 Big congratulations to Margaret and K9 Koda! 🐾 This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Koda as he joins his new family, training as Margaret’s personal protection and diabetic scenting canine. Saying goodbye to this incredible pup tugs at my heartstrings 🥲💛, but I know he’s off to make a real difference with his new handler. Wishing them both all the best on this amazing journey ahead! 🐾 💙

**Daisy** - A 6-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog here for balanced obedience and manners. She'll learn to walk quietly on a leash and respect her oweners personal space.

**R***r** - An 18-month-old Boxer/Hound mix who needs to learn some real manners. He'll work on obedience and understanding boundaries with his owner.

**Murphy** - He’s a 2-year-old Agouti Husky returning after two years for advanced off-leash obedience training. This “thinker” needs constant challenges or he gets bored. Watching his confidence grow is a beauty.

**Pearl** - Back to perfect her off-leash obedience and recall. This super smart and energetic girl always needs a job to do. We're excited to see her take her skills to the next level.

**Risie (white) and Toitsi (black)** - These two girls are back to master off-leash obedience and distracted recall. They're as smart as they are cute, which says a lot!

Just finished up a great group of pups. There were definitely some behavior challenges that we worked through, from fearful reactionary to willful alpha leadership issues. Each one stepped up and met their goals with confidence and obedience.

Congratulations to Blue, the super hyper border collie mix, for graduating from Balanced Obedience School! 🎓👏🏼From having no sense of personal space or manners to becoming an outstanding student, Blue has shown incredible progress. His high energy, once like a pinball machine, was channeled into learning new commands and skills. Now, he walks calmly with a loose leash right next to you, excels at his favorite climb command, and has stellar recall.

Kudos to his dedicated paw-parents, George and Gay, who traveled each week from Treasure Valley, Idaho, to learn alongside Blue. We couldn’t be happier for this trio. Well done, Blue, George, and Gay!🙌🏼🐾💙

👀 Look who's graduated from Doggy School—Oreo! This little guy used to always want things his way, but with the new tools and skills we've taught him, he's now a very obedient pup. Oreo overcame some serious challenges with flying colors. We're incredibly proud of this trio. Stephen, Jess, and Oreo traveled many hours each week, fully dedicated to learning and growing together. 💙Bravo, team—job well done! 🙌🏼🐾👏🏼Your hard work and commitment have truly paid off!

Congratulations to Athena on graduating from Balanced Obedience School! When she first arrived, she was a bundle of nerves, fearful of nearly everything and everyone. Through dedicated training, Athena has blossomed, gaining newfound confidence and the tools needed to face any unfamiliar or challenging situation with ease. She passed every test with flying colors.

A big applause also goes to her paw parents, Patricia and Jim, who committed to traveling six hours weekly to learn alongside Athena. Their dedication and teamwork have laid the foundation for a successful and harmonious home.🐾👏🏼💖🧑‍🎓

🐾 Check out our training in action. During our Balanced Obedience Classes, one of our training to aid in adversity reaction towards vacuum, brooms and mop. Many of these dogs come to us feeling fearful or reactive, especially towards vacuum brooms and mops. But during our training sessions, the pups are learning to embrace calm and accepting behaviors.

Look at these amazing outcomes! 😍👏 Our furry friends are making fantastic progress in week three.

🐾 Oreo: This adorable 7-pound Aussie doodle from Missoula is here to master balance, obedience, and learn about personal space. Get ready to be charmed by this heart-stealer!

🐾 Tully: Joining us from Blackfoot, ID, Tully, an 8-pound, 18-month-old Cockapoo, is here for behavior modification and to learn new obedience commands. Let's redirect those naughty habits!

🐾 Athena: Our lovely princess, Athena, a 9-month-old Moyen Poodle, is all the way from where nervous Nellies rule, aka Missoula MT. She'll be building confidence and embracing the world around her through our training.

🐾 Blue: Hailing from Twin Falls, ID, this 7-month-old Border Collie/Labrador mix brings boundless energy but lacks personal space manners. It's time for some fun obedience training!

🐾 Jack: All the way from Meridian, Idaho, Jack, our sweet six-year-old Labrador, is here to refine his manners and grasp the concept of personal space. We’ll teach him some impulse control!

🐾 Chester: From Great Falls, MT, Chester is an eight-month-old Pudelpointer from the Czech Republic. He's gearing up for his NAVDA test and needs to master Balanced Obedience. Get ready for some goofy fun with this big-hearted pup!

🎓🐾 Help me congratulate Sam on his amazing achievement! 🎉 He just graduated from phase 1 of Balanced Obedience Training, and oh, what a journey it has been! 🐶 Despite having much of his life spent in a shelter and not knowing much about household manners, Sam has overcome so much in such a short time. From rushing to the end of a leash to conquering his fear of cars, vets, nail trimmings, and vacuuming, this pup has shown incredible determination and resilience. 😊

I've witnessed Sam's eagerness to learn and his joy when he nails a new command—it's truly heartwarming! 🐾 He even surprised us all by mastering our climb command, which led to a climb up into the wash tub during his Tractor Supply field trip! 🚜 Despite facing challenges like loose dogs at the vet's office, and fast vehicles driving by, Sam maintained his commands perfectly! The dedication and the support of his amazing new Paw-Parents, Rick & Kiki is truly heartwarming.🏡💕

🐾 After recovering from a challenging foot surgery, we're thrilled to be back in action at North Mountain K9! 🐾

Let's give a warm welcome to our March students:

🔵 BLUE - A lovable 2 1/2-year-old Cava-poo from Twin Falls, Idaho. He's here to master Balanced Obedience, leash control, pulling, and jumping.

🐾 BARNABY - A playful 9-month-old Cane Corso/Labrador mix, ready to tackle Balanced Obedience, leash manners, pulling, and recall.

🐩 LIL’ MISS - An adorable 10-month-old Mini Aussiedoodle all the way from Mountain Home, Idaho. She'll be honing her leash management, Balanced Obedience, jumping, and self-control skills.

🐶 SAM - An eager-to-please 18-month-old lab mix, who's looking to overcome challenges after spending to much of his life in a shelter. He's here to work on Balanced Obedience, leash manners, pulling, socializing, and jumping.

Initially a bit resistant, she's now become quite the obedient pup, responding quickly to commands with enthusiasm. 🐶💕 Tootsie learned to heel quietly on leash(even next to a moving bicycle), she mastered the art of not chasing the vacuum, and sits calmly for nail trims and long down holds! Bravo to Tootsie and her paw-mom Cheryl – they make an unbeatable team! 👏
