Greystone Eq Ctr is looking for the right person or people to work shifts Fridays -Mondays. Responsibilities include horse care and farm chores. Experience needed. It’s an amazing opportunity to work around these incredible creatures and get paid for it!! We are located in North Ft Myers. If we are too far north, Carole Wilson at Winstar Farms is looking for the same and she’s close to Daniel’s and 6 Mile!

I can’t contain myself any longer!! Penny has come to us on trial to see if she and Olivia are a team made for Pony Finals. She is an absolute gem! They are having so much fun together already and she is a sweetheart to be around! Thank you Stephanie Idene Sakata for trusting us with your baby; it’s off to a great start for Olivia! ❤️ 🥰

We have four mares available! Two for S and two for L! Veil: 17h, 10yo TB. This mare is lovely! She’s very smooth and has classic jump form. She’ll help you win in the Hunter ring! For S. Frankie: 12 yo athletic jumper. Winning local record up to the .95’s. Very quiet on the flat. The bigger the jump, the more powerful she is! For S, less than 9. The two ponies are for L only. Bella is a carded large with a huge winning record from X’s to 2’3”! Chocolate is a small and available for an in house L or 1/2 L. She also has multiple show and year end championships!

Greystone is welcoming another Olivia! Olivia Landsberg and her boy Mack have moved in! Olivia is a freshman at Verot and hasn’t had Mack for very long. They are looking forward to learning, growing, and building a show resume!

We’d like to welcome Olivia and Bella to the Greystone family!! Olivia has been a member of the IEA team for a couple years and now has her pony in house! I’m looking forward to working with them and continuing their development as a tough pair to beat!!

Greystone hosted their second annual Senior Recognition Celebration yesterday. It’s such a sad and happy moment all at the same time. I’ve known Mia since her kindergarten years and she and her family have been family to us. I’m so proud of her and her many College offers! Riley came into our lives a couple years ago but it feels like so much longer! She and her family have been such a wonderful addition to GEC. She will be attending the college of her dreams, FGCU so, I don’t think this is “goodbye” 😉. Thank you Melissa Shapiro Allen for everything you did to make this happen. Thank you Linda Aldrich DosSantos for creating this event that I’m sure will carry on for years to come! Maybe the girls will be able to do a “homecoming“ next year as Maddy Koll did this year! Thank you to all the Greystonians, IEAers, and all the family members who came to support and celebrate Mia Ossichak and Riley DosSantos. ♥️

Jump Off Competition update to leaderboard: Caitlin Sheff took over the lead this am with a time of 41.18. Not long after, Angel took it over with 40.52. Low and behold, Nikki Nychyk ended today’s rounds with a slick time of 39.85!!!! One and a half weeks to go! Some riders still have two tries left!!

Fox Lea Open Schooling June Show was a big success for team Greystone!! The dads: Tim (Riley), Dave (Abby), Richard (Sophia), and Dan (Gia) all ended up tied for first place!! Demonstrating our continued growth, Riley moved up to the 2’/2’3” division and topped her 3rd place or better goal! Jennifer showed her new mare, Sugar for the first time starting low and ending high with all firsts and seconds in the jumper ring!! Gia got to dip her toes into the jumper ring and Sophie showed her how it’s done, getting a 2nd and 4th and then winning the Eq flat, ending up Champion in the division!! Sophia and Argo got nothing but top ribbons in the cross rail division! Smooch had to cart both Abby and I around and was such a good boy! We got a 76 in the first round of the derby leaving us tied for 2nd but an unfortunate rail in the handy dropped us to 4th. He was tired but trekked around the Eq ring with Abby, ending Champion in her divisions. Aiko and Maddie came to play and had some beautiful rounds, including the first round of the derby. It was sure to be in the 80’s but then the last rail dropped 😢. I am so proud of all these riders and their dedication to the sport and the love of the horse.

Team Greystone is at it again at Fox Lea!! Robin Banks Shonnard and Bam blended into Mia Ossichak's purple theme but kept in the blue in the jumper ring, winning her Adult Jumper class! She's well in the lead for the year end championship!! Mia and Toby started the day the same way, dresses in purple but riding for Blue! She also has a secure seat for the championship! She ended her day winning a most creative prize for her Wizard of Oz costume! Ashley and Poncho had their best combined flat class ever but then lost energy for their jump rounds. They dug deep and pulled it together for their last trip, ending on a good note! Red is kicking off his career as a hunter and was 3rd and 5th in the Crossrails. He's proving to have a great brain for all that a show brings! The Moose is loose! Jensen Marie Wedeles and her young mount are showing huge improvements! He's always willing to get to the other side and now, how he does it is looking good!! They were 3rd, 5th, and 5th out of a large group. Jensen was the last Greystone survivor in the ride a buck, finally surrendering when it seemed like it would never end! Congrats team Greystone! Go get em today!!!
