Today was another great day for ARC and Cattyshack Cafe, with Lemar going home from CSC.

ARC residents, Babbles the Shih Tzu as well as Cookie the cat were also adopted.

Snowy ~ This beautiful snow-white kitten has what is known as heterochronic eyes – one eye is blue, and the other one is green! This unusual trail only adds to her good looks and uniqueness. Not only is she gorgeous, Snowy is an easy-going kitten that loves attention. As you can see, she is easy to pick up and loves to cuddle close in volunteer’s arms. She also enjoys playing and spending time with all the other kittens in her house.

It has been a busy two weeks at ARC. Adoptions included cats: Blaze, Cider, Reese, Lightning, Margo, Simone Biles, Tamg, Jordan, and Leonard.

Dogs: Mickey, Tanner, Heath Bar, Friar, Buffy, and Tuesday.

We are so excited that so many of our amazing pets have found their Fur-ever homes!!

Simone Biles ~ this gorgeous kitten is usually busy discovering everything life has to offer! She is busy playing, running, climbing, hiding, and racing around the house with the other kittens. When she is not busy playing, she enjoys snuggling in volunteer’s laps!

Florida Everblades Announce Peanuts Night Jersey Auction

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades will host a virtual auction on the DASH app for the game-worn Peanuts jersey this week. The auction will open Wednesday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. All net proceeds from this auction will be donated to Animal Refuge Center.

The Blades will be sporting the specialty jerseys on Saturday, December 21st at 7:00 p.m. for Peanuts Night, presented by Animal Animal Refuge Center at Hertz Arena as they face the South Carolina Stingrays.

Fans can download the free DASH auction app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Interested buyers will need to create an account to bid on the auction. The auction will feature three groups of players, each with a starting bid and a buy-it-now option, differing for each player. The buy-it-now option for each group will close 24 hours before each group auction closes.

These will make a great Holiday, or "just because", gift for the hockey fan in your family!
