Happy New Year!
January Class Registrations are open, with classes kicking off next Tuesday, January 7th!

Kinder Clay and Creative Clay classes for ages 3- 12, on alternate Tuesdays a month. Come get muddy and make a handbuilt ceramic work in our peaceful outdoor classroom, along with animal visits and feeding.
Advanced Clay is on 1 Tuesday a month, designed for the focused students who want to dig deeper into all the clay techniques (wheel, extruder, sculpting, etc). Ages 12+, and a small class size.

Farm School is still on a waitlist, but check out our NEW Farm School JR class, offered on select Mondays and Tuesdays each month. This is a great way to test out Farm School and get to know our space and style. Space is limited, so register now!

Back (finally) is Adult Clay on Saturday mornings. Join us for a peaceful morning of self paced clay handbuilding. Note - price change.

Civics students are continuing lessons on the Executive Branch of the US government and working hard on wax museum biographies.

Entrepreneur workshop put on a fabulous Holiday Shop, where they showcased and sold their goods. What a fun festive way to end the day before winter break!

Ecology students are continuing their studies on polar regions and sea ice.
We had a very special performance from the Holiday Harmonies who did a beautiful job singing a Christmas favorite!
We celebrated the winter solstice by making living ornaments in Nature Art workshop.

The Eggsperience comes with everything you need to incubate 7 chicken eggs🥚 and detailed instructions for incubation and chick care. Hatch in 21 days, then enjoy the baby chicks 🐥🐥🐥 for 1 week before returning them to the Farm.

Civics students are working hard on their political figure timelines.
Entrepreneur workshop is preparing for a Holiday Shop and Holiday crafting workshop is creating some adorable seasonal art!

Ecology students learned about how glaciers and sea ice move with a fantastic slime demonstration!
Flag football has been a favorite in our sportsmanship workshop this session, friendship bracelets, Lego, theater, nature art...all of our wonderful afternoon workshops, and birthday celebrations to finish the day.

Civics students are diving into our executive branch research project. Some students had an "escape box" challenge and others worked on their wax museum timelines.
We stayed warm with line dancing and workshops in the afternoon!

Ecology students learned about different kinds of ice in polar environments. Our lessons matched the chilly temps outside!
We are having so much fun with line dancing lessons and workshops in the afternoons.

Session 3 of Civics will focus on the Executive Branch of the government and involve a research project of a noteworthy politician. We will present the projects in a wax museum at the end of the session.

New workshops this session include Entrepreneur, Dance, Holiday Crafts, and Team Sports.

Farm School session 3! We began our session on Polar Ice Caps. We learned how glaciers have shaped our landscape.

We started new workshops, including Holiday Harmonies singing workshop, Friendship bracelet weaving, Nature Artists, Lego Engineers, an original Broadway on the Farm written by one of our very own students, and Junior Farmhands. We also have a special treat this session... Line dancing lessons!

Our last day of Mock Election Civics was the most fun! We celebrated our Farm School president and vice president with pajama day, crazy hair day, popsicles, water balloons and field games. We heard a lovely acceptance speech from Madame President.

Workshops had some very special treats in store...a Halloween dance performance, a fashion show and a very successful candle sale from our young entrepreneurs. That's a wrap!

We finished up our Pacific Garbage Patch session by presenting our recycled plastic sculptures.

We were delighted by a performance from our Broadway on the Farm workshop, The Cheetah and the Sloth.
Ocean Art put finishing touches on their sea glass creations.
Fall Felting finished their fuzzy felted friends.
Photography wrapped up a few creative projects they have been working on.
Crochet club is coming up with some festive holiday projects.
New workshops begin with the new session!

Ecology lessons were all about how ocean plastic affects wildlife. We learned about an organization that turns beach trash into art and started to design our own plastic recyclable sculptures.

Farm School Mock Election Day! We learned about the electoral collage and went to the polls to cast our ballots. Students all exhibited good sportsmanship as we counted ballots and congratulated our new Farm School Madame President and Mister Vice President!

Farm School Civics: We learned about the history of voting in our country and voter registration.
We also had some Halloween fun! 🎃

Workshops: Photography, Sunshine Chefs, Stop Motion, Entrepreneur Candle business, DIY Fashion, Yoga, and Dance are all having a blast with their respective projects!

Farm School Ecology: We learned about the lifespan of plastics, nurdles in our oceans, and thought about creative solutions to these problems.

Ocean Art, Fall Felting, Photography, Broadway on the Farm, Crochet, and Team Building workshops are underway!

Farm School Civics students held our presidential and vice presidential debates! We perfected our platforms and campaign materials. All of the candidates did a fantastic job!
