The 2022 DDWC is fast approaching, and the excitement is building for the Golden Paws Awards and especially for the Youth Recognition Awards.

Our Sanctioned Facilities and youth handlers knocked it out of the park this year with fund raising, thank you to everyone that supported these awards.

DockDogs® is committed to supporting the youths in our community, as they are our future. To this end the 2019 DockDogs® Rules Committee was established to recognize our Youth Handlers.

Outstanding Youth
Open to Youths age 12 and under.
This award wil be presented at the Golden Paws Gala. Winner will receive $500 (non-expiring) DockDogs Credits.

Outstanding Teen
Open to Youths age 13-18.
This award will be presented at the Golden Paws Gala. Winner will receive $1,000 scholarship.

Join animal lovers April 22-24 in West Palm Beach at the Florida Outdoor Expo for the DockDogs® experience! Come to watch these dogs doing what they love, OR bring your own dog and give dock diving a try! There is no experience necessary to participate and we welcome all dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. Register your dog online or onsite at the event and watch your pup learn new tricks, have fun along the way and even walk out a Champion!

**This is a Wild Card Weekend which means the top 4 winners from each division of each discipline will be invited to the World Championships taking place this October!

This will be a One on One 15 minute introduction to DockDogs.
Dogs must be 6 months or older, already swimming and retrieving.

Please bring a float able toy, leash, p**p bags and plenty of drinking water.

Cost is $20.00 cash or check.

To reserve a spot, please REPLY IN THE TIME FRAME WITH YOUR NAME AND DOGS NAME.

BASIC RULES:
• Handlers must be at least seven (7) years old.
• Flip Flops or Slides are not permitted on the dock.
• Choke collars, prong collars or electronic collars (including electronic collar receivers & transmitters), gentle leaders, halti-collars, or any other collar other than either a flat buckle-type or (material only) Martingale type collar or harness, are not allowed.
• No pushing or shoving your dog into the water.

Breaking news......

UPDATE regarding Open Registration for DockDogs Events:

With this feature enabling handlers to register themselves "onsite" at events, we have put in place a start time for open registration which we are making 30 minutes past the start of onsite registration at an event. For example, if onsite registration for an event opens at 7:30 am, then it will be open for handler open registration at 8:00 am. 🐶🌟
