Welcome Cooper the the Academy ! He is a coonhound husky mix and will be working on nutrition, basic manners , impulse control and potty training he is a living but shy boy so we will be working on his confidence too.

Xena girl went home today ! She was a 6 month rescue/ foster while her humans got their new house ready ! She was adopted by the same family as two of our previous rescues too! She has a fur brother named Beemer coming home next week !

As always the balance between focus work and decompression is key in a well rounded dog . Kaiser got to have his sister JJ come for today’s session at the park with tons of people taking prom pictures and fishing .

Neo did some amazing distraction work at the softball fields today ! As a service dog having a focus on his owner is key as well as being able to follow commands and send off like this in emergency situations his bond with his dad is unbreakable 🙌🏼 we practiced send offs to mom and dad with kids and dogs running around utilizing his focus over distraction impulse control

RJ s first social/exposure session and he did great ! I was asked if he was a service dog and said he is not he’s on his first day of his board and train so he is passing with flying colors so far and continues to build his confidence and self control working through distractions he is highly praise motivated !
