Bring your dog out for a morning of Easter fun on Saturday, April 5 from 10:30 am to 12 pm at Boneanza! For a $5 donation your pup will receive a goodie bag and get to participate in a dog only Easter Egg Hunt. There will be prizes, pet vendors, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more!

The small dog egg hunt will be at 11 am and the large dog hunt at 11:20 am. No children under the age of 5 allowed in designated dog area, all dogs must be accompanied by owner while inside the dog park.

Waggin' Trail Dog Park is officially closed for aerating and seeding. The park will reopen on Friday, April 4. We know this is a bummer, but think about the lush green grass that will grow just in time for Spring and Summer! 🌱

Waggin’ Trail Dog Park is closed until further notice. Due to limited staffing and equipment, staff needs time to clear the paths in the park before opening again. We will post once the the park is back open. We appreciate your patience. Stay warm!

Community Blood Center is running "Chiefs Week" next week! The Kansas City Chiefs has partnered with CBC to help spread awareness of the need for blood donations for our local hospital. Please help save lives locally at the City of North Kansas City Blood Drive, and you'll receive a FREE Chiefs tee and be entered for a chance to WIN a pair of tickets to a 2024 Chiefs home football game! Appointments are strongly preferred; walk-ins will be accepted.

Donations of handmade or store bought with tags, hats, scarves, and gloves can be dropped off at the Recreation Center through November 18.

There's still time to drop off donations for our Feel the Warmth Project! We are taking donations of hats, gloves, and scarves that are handmade or store bought with tags. Donations can be dropped off at our Recreation Center at 1201 Clark Ferguson Drive in North Kansas City. If you can donate, please drop off your donations by Monday, November 18.

The week of November 25, anyone who needs a little extra warmth for the winter season will be able to find the donated items available on the fence line of our local parks: Waggin' Trail Dog Park, Macken Park, and Dagg Park.
