The North Kingstown ACO, RI DEM, and RI DOH would like to inform the residents of NK that there have been 2 raccoons tested for RABIES that came back POSITIVE in the past few days in the Camp Ave to Anchor Way to Grist Mill Drive to Fishing Cove Area.

We would like to remind everyone to vaccinate your animals for rabies if they are not already. And most importantly, please go outside with your pets and keep an eye on them. If you see a raccoon acting strange out during the day time, please call to report it.

If anyone needs help getting an apppointment at a local Vet or has any additional questions, please call the NK ACO at #294-3316 ex. 8251. (Leave a message if no answer and they will get back to you)
