There's an angel in Friends of Animals in Need's world. Her name is Angie, a special spirit in Friends' eyes.
Angie is a senior at North Providence High School and has two loving pets in her life that she is devoted to. Knowing how much her pets mean to her, Angie recently decided to do her senior project in high school based on Friends' mission of helping to keep pets and the people who love them together.
Her goal was to raise $2,000. Remarkably, Angie did that and more!!

Friends of Animals in Need's sincerest appreciation for Angie's determination and effort in helping to make a huge difference in the world of pets and the people who love them. ❤️

We all know about Hershey kisses. However, this eight year old Hershey gives not only kisses but brings joy and love to a mom who adopted him five years ago. It is the simple things in life that matter most in their relationship, and the warmth and love that Hershey has received has helped to heal his soul. Keeping him in good health is important too, and Hershey’s mom was there to arrange for an important, costly, dental visit where 18 teeth were extracted. No worries for this sweet guy, cherished by a mom who has been there for him no matter what.

Twelve year old Meisen lucked out big time when his dad adopted him from a shelter eight years ago. Their years together have just flown by. A daily routine, but most of all, enjoying each other’s company has given their life together a new perspective. A brief separation was needed recently, when Meisen began pawing at his ear. An important vet visit revealed that it wasn’t an ear mite that had taken up home, but a polyp, which required costly surgery. With great vet care, and the love and concern of an attentive dad, life is once again as good as it gets for them both.

Adopted as a pup when her owner couldn’t keep her, these last 12 years have been the best not only for Wasabi, but her very special mom. Devoted companions, known to be each other’s shadows, always there to share a cuddle or kiss or two, their presence has enriched each other’s lives big time. A brief separation occurred a few months back when Wasabi required testing for diabetes. Home is where Wasabi’s heart is, and her loving mom has been there to help keep it that way.

Left behind as a two year old, luck and love found Mouse right across the street. That moment in time helped to enrich not only Mouse’s life, but her loving mom’s, who opened her heart and home to her nine and a half years ago. Three squares, cuddles, playtime and the warmth and love from a mom who appreciates her presence in her life have changed Mouse’s world beyond measure. Her mom’s priority has been to keep Mouse healthy and happy. After an important vet visit for a dental checkup, her mom reports, “She only lost one tooth. Great news considering her age.” What an awesome twosome!
