Silky has lucked out big time in both life and love over the years. His first owner opened her heart and home to him when she took him in as a stray kitten and shared her life and love with him for eight years. Shortly after his mom’s death, a second mom stepped up to give precious Silky a second chance at life and love. Now 15, this lucky guy’s life has been enriched by some very special angels, making sure that his every need has been met. Silky needed an important vet visit a short time ago for dental work and the removal of a cyst. All went well for Silky, a special guy who’s had two very special people in his life.

Adopted as a pup, these last 12 years have been the best for both Hairy and his dad. Great pals, their time spent together has enriched both their lives. No one has to be reminded about how challenging these times have been, and living on a fixed income has only compounded the challenges of getting by. Despite these times, it didn’t dissuade Hairy’s dad from being there for him and arranging an important vet visit when Hairy had difficulty chewing. It’s all about priorities, and Hairy’s good health was first and foremost. That costly vet visit made all the difference in Hairy’s world, as he left the vet with 11 less teeth, but no less love for a very special dad.

Handsome Prince charmed his way into his dad’s heart and home as a kitten two years ago, and their lives together since that time have been richer for it. Their daily routine had a brief detour a few weeks ago when Prince had started vomiting, unable to keep even his favorite treats down. Thankfully, an immediate vet visit was made to find out why. Friends is pleased to report that with important tests and meds, the answers were found, reassuring Prince’s dad that, with his love and care, his precious Prince will be with him for the long haul.

All is not lost for sweet, 10 year old Charlie since his owner’s passing about a month ago. Adjustments to new surroundings take time, and his new mom has been there to accommodate Charlie’s every need. Out of the blue, Charlie had stopped eating recently, and his new guardian quickly made vet arrangements to find out why. Friends is pleased to report that with costly tests, meds and fluids, Charlie has found his appetite again because of a new mom who treasures his presence in her life as well. Wishing them both many happy, healthy years together.

Sweet Georgie came into her family’s life as a four month old rescue six years ago, and her time with this special family has made all the difference in both their worlds. Affectionate and outgoing, she’s always been there for a cuddle or two and her presence in their lives has made a wonderful distraction to the challenges of our times. When a growth was discovered on Georgie’s eyelid, her very concerned family sought vet care for her. With costly surgery, the growth was removed and truly helped to make Georgie and her family’s life whole once again.

Myrtle’s life couldn't be any sweeter after becoming a part of her mom’s life as a one year old rescue 15 years ago. Their days together since that time have brought each other joy, love and comfort. They have grown to understand each other’s every move, be it the sound of Myrtle’s food bowl being filled, or downtime together on a couch, both lives have been enriched by each other’s presence. Myrtle appeared to be in discomfort recently. With an immediate vet visit and great vet care, Myrtle is no longer enduring the pain and throbbing of a nasty ear infection, and both she and her mom are gifts that just keep on giving.

Five year old Midge has had her share of challenges in her short life. Things are beginning to look up for this sweet girl, since her rescue from a hoarding case and given a new chance at life and love a few months ago. Now living the good life, within a short period of time, her new mom was there for her a second time when Midge was acting out of sorts. An important and immediate vet visit was made, where Midge was treated for not only some puncture wounds, but a double ear and eye infection, and the extraction of 10 teeth. They say home is where the heart is, and Midge’s new home couldn’t have a bigger one.

Harriet has been adored and loved beyond measure and become an important part of her mom’s life since her adoption as a kitten five years ago. There for each other in special ways, Harriet’s mom stepped up for her in a big, big way recently when it was found that one of Harriet’s kidneys was failing and needed removal. Without hesitation on her mom’s part, costly surgery was performed, and this remarkable twosome are once again enjoying the warmth and love of each other’s presence in their lives.

Chewy came into her mom’s life as a pup and their life together these last 13 years has made a huge difference in both their worlds. According to her mom, Chewy derived her name because she loved to chew, especially shoes and toilet paper. Along the way, Chewy has had many vet visits for dental work, and her most recent arranged visit was for Chewy to have all her remaining teeth extracted. No worries for Chewy, as her mom will find a way to make her food both enticing and healthy for her very special soul mate.

Felix has been living a life of luxury since being found as a stray kitten eight years ago. A source of comfort and companionship, it’s been a two-way street, as Felix has become a treasured part of his mom’s life since that memorable day. Alarm bells went off a few weeks ago when his loving mom found blood in Felix’s urine and made immediate arrangements for an emergency vet visit. With expert vet care, her Felix was put on antibiotics and pain meds, and their life together, once again, is as good as it gets.

Sixteen year old Sasha has been living the good life since her adoption 15 years ago. Devoted companions, Sasha and her mom have shared a loving life together. Recently, her caring mom wanted to help keep it that way by arranging for an important vet visit to have Sasha’s teeth cleaned and some skin tags taken care of. What a special twosome, so lucky at both life and love.
