Ten year old, sweet Pumpkin found a new life and love after her adoption nine years ago. Great food, hugs and the comforts of a loving home have helped to make her life complete. Living the good life has worked both ways, as Pumpkin’s presence has brought both joy and love to her family, too. When their Pumpkin developed sores that wouldn’t heal, immediate arrangements for a vet visit were made. Lab work revealed Pumpkin had skin cancer and required costly surgery. Home is where Pumpkin’s heart is, and its love will be sure to hasten a speedy recovery.

Adopted as a pup 13 years ago, Paris has been a big part of her mom’s life. Some days are often filled with places to go and things to do. A very important date was on their to do list recently; a vet visit for dental treatment. This was Paris and her mom’s big day at the vets, as previous visits had determined that Paris needed several extractions and a good cleaning, and her concerned mom wanted only what was best for her. With great vet care, Paris left the vets with 10 less teeth but no less love for a mom who will be right by her side in her recovery.

Adopted as a kitten two years ago, it didn’t take long for Charlie to become an important family member. His precious ways have made a big imprint on his family’s heart. Their commitment and love for him was demonstrated about a week ago when Charlie had stopped urinating and required an immediate, life saving, costly vet visit for a kidney stone blockage. Charlie’s continued presence in his loving family’s life was and is a priority, and they were there to make sure it happened. Wishing Charlie and his kind family many more happy, healthy years together.

Thirteen year old Brody sure knows his way about town since his adoption as a rescue 11 years ago. Walks have been part of Brody and his mom’s daily routine for a long time, keeping them young and healthy. One walk changed their daily routine recently, when a tick bite got the best of Brody, and the last thing he wanted to do was go for a walk, as the bite made him lethargic and his joints ached, too. An important vet visit was made, where Brody was diagnosed with Lyme, treated with meds and fluids, hopefully helping him and his mom get on the road again real soon.

Adopted as a kitten 12 years ago, Oliver and his mom have established an inseparable bond. Because of their daily routine together, Oliver doesn’t often have to remind his mom when it’s treat or chow time. Their daily routine was altered recently, when he appeared in great discomfort, unsettled, and unable to relax. His concerned mom arranged for an immediate vet visit where it was found that Oliver had an ear infection. With expert vet care and meds, Oliver is once again his old self, and his mom couldn’t be more relieved and blessed in seeing her Oliver home and at peace once again.

That’s quite a “necklace” Tails is wearing! Mom had no choice but to adorn Tails with it because of his relentless scratching. Adopted as a kitten seven years ago, he’s an important part of his mom’s world. The last thing she wanted was for Tails to spend his life with a cone. Tails’ “necklace” was worn to no avail, as it hadn’t helped to prevent him from scratching. The only other alternative was a vet visit, which found that, with a blood test, Tails had allergies. Important meds helped to relieve his symptoms big time, and Tails and his mom are so thankful that having to wear his “necklace” is finally a thing of the past.

Thirteen year old Carly has been an important part of her mom’s life since her adoption ten years ago. Her mom considers Carley “her colleague and world,” as she has no family, and “Carly is all I have in my life.” When a tumor was recently discovered on the back of Carley’s paw, without hesitation, her loving mom made immediate arrangements to have it checked out at the vet. It was found that important surgery was needed to help make Carley and her loving mom’s world whole again. Surgery went well, and Carly and her mom are once again back to making life good for each other.
