Total Dog Family,

It is with sadness that we deliver this message to you. As of Monday, 08/09/2021, our daycare service will be suspended until further notice. We will be keeping all boarding reservations that have been made but will not be accepting any additional reservations. We have a staff shortage due to Covid and for the safety of your dogs we cannot continue. Until we are fully staffed we must suspend the additional services. However, we will be dedicating the facility to our training side. If you need to board your pup and would like them to have a quick training session- we can do that!

Please keep an eye out for up dates and thank you for being understanding during these uncertain times.

In the next couple of weeks our kids will go back to school. We will be gone all day at work. While our dogs are left at home by themselves.

♟ Dog Training is like Chess ♟

How you ask?

In the game of chess you have to be patient, you always need to be thinking ahead, thinking of your next move, moving one piece at a time, have an understanding that you may have to move a piece back before moving other pieces forward.

Dog Training has many similarities! In dog training there is no quick fix, it takes time and patience, you have to set a plan, many times you take 1 step forward and 2 steps backwards.

In both chess and dog training you focus on how to win. In dog training the win comes when you have a well mannered, obedient dog that listens to you in any environment, regardless of distractions!
