Below is featured just a few of the over 300+ wonderful dogs currently sitting in adoptions at The Animal Foundation, Las Vegas's local city shelter. These pups are desperate for placement, be it adoption or foster, either way they really want to get into a loving home. 💗🙏🐾

Big-small, young-old, different colors, different breeds, all wonderful personalities. The biggest misconception about shelters and rescues is that "they offer no variety". As you can see below, that statement is simply untrue. Unfortunately, no animal is immune from ending up in the system. All different: breeds, ages, shapes, sizes, and colors come through their doors. All are amazing and unique, in their own way. And each and everyone one of them, wish for a family to call their own. So please, consider adoption or fostering and save a life today.

A Las Vegas shelter advised that it had already taken in over 1,000 animals in the first 12 days of June. The group said that late Wednesday night alone it took in 39 dogs from one home due to what it called an “illegal breeding operation.”
