As frigid temperatures continue in our area, it’s important to remember that extreme cold can be just as dangerous for our furry friends as it is for us. Frostbite can set in quickly, often within 15 minutes, depending on the temperature. Please ensure your pets stay safe and warm—keep them indoors whenever possible. If they must go outside, be sure they’re properly protected with coats or booties to shield them from the harsh elements. Remember, they rely on us to keep them safe, so let’s do everything we can to protect them during these extreme conditions. Stay warm and take care of your pets!

I’ve been getting messages again lately saying “my dog doesn’t need to be groomed because he’s short haired” lol soo let me introduce you to Miss Roxxy!

This sweet girl is a boxer/mastiff mix and a coat that’s about as short as it can get! She’s on a regular schedule and look at all that dead coat that still came out today! (And that’s AFTER her bath and blowout!)

Not only is regular grooming helpful to your vacuum but also keeps your out skin healthy, we can keep nails at a healthy, comfortable length, keep ears clean and notice any signs of infection early on to avoid hefty vet bills, and notice any new lumps/bumps your kiddo might have!

Message me to get on the books! I know it doesn’t feel like it but springs coming! Everyone’s going to start blowing coat soon!

What a Friday!

5 labs, a boxer, a shepherd (not pictured), 2 mini Aussies, a mountain cur, 2 mini doodles (one pictured😅), 2 chihuahuas (also not pictured 😴), and a few nail trims. I’ll now be sleeping for the next 2 days🤣🤣

Thank goodness for having help this afternoon! Although we had so many dogs the shop was calm and peaceful as most of these guys came in groups or pairs from the same families! ❤️

Happy New Year!

2024 has been a year of so much growth! My little business has grown so much and I’m so thankful for the opportunities it has brought my way!

None of it would be possible without my amazing clients!

I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings!

Yesterday was a long day, but I had a great group of kiddos!

Newbies Tucker, Lulu, and Millie were fantastic! Millie has the best smile! I wish I caught it camera! She is such a happy girl! Miss Lulu can be nervous but she relaxed enough to take a good nap while I worked on her sister! I’m so glad she felt comfortable enough to relax at my shop! ❤️ Tucker came in a bit of a hot mess🤣 but he was so good for his groom! He’s such a goofy guy!

Miss Bella Grace, Teddy, Storm, and (not pictured Louie, Stevie, and Frank) were back for their spa days and were great as usual❤️

I’m truly blessed with such amazing clients (pets AND their owners!) This year has been amazing!

2 more work days before Christmas! 13 more grooms!

On Wednesdays we wear pink💕 (Or everyday for Cruz🤣)

Miss Mocha is the perfect example of a doodle that loves to be groomed❤️ she loves to just hangout on the table when she’s all done! (Of course I lower it once we’re finished🥰)

Miss Nene actually loved her spa day! For a cat that’s rare! She was the best girl today!❤️ she was just happy to have us loving on her I think!

Ignore my baby talking 🤣 this sweet girl is only about 13 weeks old! This is her second groom ever and she’s just amazing. I swear she’s an old soul, she has such a been there done that personality when it comes to grooming. Today we shaved her paw pads for the first time and she acted like it’s been done a million times! And she’s still a pro with the blow dryer - she handles it better than some of my adult dogs! So proud of her!

Grooming just like everything in life isn’t one size fits all! As most of you know, I groom out of my basement (for another month or so at least!) Miss Bella is a very old golden lady that can’t go up and down my stairs anymore😭 so we enjoyed the sunshine and fabulous breeze today to get her feeling more comfortable! With her mobility and other health issues Miss Bella had some matting on her hips and belly so we shaved her down (don’t come for me guys, I know she’s double coated and the pros/cons were discussed in depth) this is best for her and much more comfortable! These senior kids have my whole heart❤️

Miss Athena is the PERFECT example of why starting puppies with grooming early is the best for them! This sweet girl is 9 weeks old! She did great for her bath and was amazing for being blow dried for the first time! At 9 weeks she hasn’t hit the “fear period” that normally is between 4-6 months for a puppy 🙂 by the time she gets there grooming will just be another thing in her life so it won’t ever be a traumatic experience for her! Of course I have a ton of pictures of her I will post later🥰
