Enzo is a stunningly handsome border collie that had an extremely rough start to life.

He was trapped in a kennel during a house fire and burned pretty badly. But luckily Enzo was saved and now one of our amazing trainers, Angie, has taken him into her home to rehab him.

Enzo suffers from extreme anxiety, some fear issues, low confidence, trust issues, the list could go on. He also has a very intense and high drive. He is a go, go, go dog and he needs to be challenged both mentally and physically. Angie has done a phenomenal job with him in the short time she has had him and he has come so far!

Enzo may have had a rough start in life but he definitely has a very bright future 🐾💙

“Every dog should be taught door manners & boundaries!

An open door is NOT an automatic invitation outside, it is simply just an open door that your dog shouldn't go through without permission. Not only is it rude for a dog to rush you at the door it can be down right dangerous if they manage to push past you and escape.”

‼️ Introducing Our Service Dog Program ‼️

Working Hearts is our 501c3 non-profit organization that helps take in donations for the service dogs currently in our program.

Right now we have 4 dogs in our service dog program. 3 of the 4 dogs have been paired with their future handler. We do have one dog that has not been paired with his person yet, so if you are in need of a service dog please reach out to us to discuss our available dog.

2 of our dogs are being trained to become Diabetic Alert Dogs. One of our dogs is being trained as a POTS service dog.

Through our non-profit organization we are able to raise tax-deductible donations that can be put towards these dogs training plans to help their handlers pay the costs of the service dog training.

If you have been wanting to donate to an organization lately, please take the time to look over our website and consider donating to Working Hearts. Service dogs save lives and give individuals back their independence, and we are so honored to be able to train these dogs for people in need ❤️

The proof is in the pudding! 🤩 Lila (the reactive GSD) and her owner came in for a post training follow up so we could see how everything was going after Lila came back home. Needless to say...they are doing fantastic! We are so proud of this committed owner and her sweet dog. 💕 If you are questioning whether or not your dog’s training will transition over to you with our board & train program..here is your answer! Consistency is 🔑

Meet Lila! Lila is a 1 year 10 month old German Shepherd who is struggling with intense reactivity to new people and dogs. She has been in several dog fights. She hasn’t put teeth on anyone (yet), but her owners are being extremely proactive in taking action NOW before it escalates to that point. The root of Lila’s reactivity stems from low confidence in herself as well as her handler. Over the next two weeks, we will not only be putting a handle on Lila and building her confidence, but also gearing up her handler to be the strong leader that Lila needs. We are so excited to transform how Lila views the world and her person. Stay tuned, this transformation won’t disappoint!

Marvin the incredible! ⭐️ This 5 month old Aussie previously completed a couple of lessons from our puppy program. So, he knew come, sit, and place. 🐾 As Marvin started to mature, some Aussie tendencies start to show. Marvin liked to bolt out of doors, chase the neighborhood kids, pull on the leash, and jump on new people.
