Angus Starter Herd Opportunity! Package deal but would split up if interested.

Registered Angus Bull and 4 head of bred cows up for discussion. 2 of which are registered Angus, and 2 crossbreds carrying registered Angus Embryo Transfer calves. Cow details are as follows.

Tag 7438: Registered 7 yo Angus Cow (AAA 18899684) AI’d to Baldridge Nebraska on 5/5/24 then Pasture Exposed to our herd bull AAA 20422720. This one is the only one that has yet to be Preg checked but could be.

Tag 8278: Registered 6 yo Angus cow (AAA 19460266) confirmed bred to our herd bull AAA 20629151 due approximately Mid March with a bull calf. She could also come with a ready to wean registerable heifer calf at side. 3 in 1 deal!

Tag 942: 5 yo Baldy Crossbred recip cow. Confirmed to be carrying a registerable Angus calf via ET due 2/26/25. Parental info (AAA 17265837 x AAA 18741751). This cow could also come with a ready to wean crossbred heifer at side for another 3 in 1 deal.

Tag 948: 5 yo Crossbred recip cow. Confirmed to be carrying a registerable Angus calf via ET due 12/27/24. Same mating as the previous recip.

Bull is completely unrelated to any of the cows and is semen tested and ready to go. AAA 20863930.

Our goal each year is the have a bull competitive enough to be on the first page of the IBEP catalog. This year our highest sale indexing bull is lot 62. With an index of 84.3 (just 0.7 off of the two leaders!) he falls 4th in the sale order.

His sire was our pick at the 85th IBEP bull sale. This bull shows generations of performance tested success that can translate to $$ on your farm.

Don’t let his BW scare you! We are striving for the best of both worlds, unassisted calves that are large enough to thrive from the moment they hit the ground.
