We here at Coastal Pooper Scooper would like to take a moment of silence for one of our furry clients. We received word this morning about the passing of a sweet old girl, Portia. She was the hi-light of our day when we would arrive to scoop her yard. She enjoyed and loved belly rubs, butt scratches and just being loved on. We are really going to miss seeing her sweet little face but we know she is up and across that rainbow bridge playing and running around with new furry friends.

We are in desperate need of finding this sweet girl a furever home, foster or rescue. We found her back on November 3rd and have been caring for her since. But sadly our other 2 dogs are not too fond of her and she is starting to put herself in danger when we kennel her while we leave for work or a couple hours and tries to escape. Here are some details:
-Name: Oakley Mae
-Age: 2-3 years old female, not spayed
-On Nexgard and Heartguard for a month
-Just received Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper and Parvo vaccinations on November 20, 2024
-Playful and energetic
-Loves belly rubs and cuddling
-separation anxiety
-Very sweet
-Doesn't like the kennel
-Not house trained but we are trying our best to do some
-Does well on car rides

From one Veteran to another, Thank you! Here at Coastal Pooper Scooper, military service is in our blood. But its the "service" part that we take most seriously. I believe in service to the community, and service to my country, and I will continue to give back to my community any way I can because my community and my country have given so much to me.

We owe our veterans a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.

** UPDATE** We have been searching all over for a rescue, shelter, sanctuary and fosters for sweet Oakley Mae to go to and we have had no luck. We've even started expanding our search into NC, VA, MD.
If any of our friends or someone you know in the MD and VA area is interested in taking her in temporarily or fostering her until a loving home is found please let me know.

Mixed emotions today for sure. K9 J***y Cash retires after an amazing career with North Myrtle Beach.

We know Cash personally and enjoy his playfulness off duty. Excited for him to enjoy his retirement with an amazing family and we know he'll be enjoying nonstop pets every chance he gets.

Well....Tina has done it again. We found another stray this evening up on Hwy 90 near Hwy 22. Poor girl is settling in for the night while we look for her owner. Tina sure is a dog whisperer.
