Bark Air, the “100% totally real airline for dogs,” had its first flight on Thursday from New York to Los Angeles — and it was sold out. Although domestic tickets cost around $6,000 (for both Fido and Fido’s human), it appears you can’t put a price tag on a happy dog, as many of the upcoming flights are listed as sold out as well.

In truth, Bark Air isn’t an actual airline, but rather a charter operator. The flights are real, though, and they’re pawsitively luxurious for pups.

Unlike traditional plane journeys, where non-service dogs are generally required to stay in a crate or put in aircraft cargo holds, Bark Air has space for them to “spread out comfortably,” doggie champagne (aka chicken broth), calming treats, lavender-scented towels, toys, and more.

Update on Forrest the cats case, which took place at Banfield North Myrtle Beach. Mom of Forrest, Dawn, took her kitty to Banfield because he wasn’t eating & had stomach issues.
They X-rayed & told her there was a blockage in the intestines & they had to be milked.
Thousands of dollars 💴 later Forrest who was sent home, was still ill. Dawn went back & demanded a copy of the X-rays! After a back & forth, Banfield reluctantly handed a copy over.
Dawn studied how to read the X-ray and when she got to the bottom, she couldn’t believe what she saw. Banfield just milked the intestines of the wrong cat!!!
Madness & pure negligence. She filed with SC licensing board, they’ve been investigating for about 18 months and just came back with a dismissal 🤬
This is a huge problem in Vet boards, ethics commissions & many departments formed to protect & help citizens in malpractice and or misconduct! They have taken the road of protect your own, knowing the average person cannot fight back 😠

Update on Petey who I adopted 2 months ago from a home that kept him indoors 24/7 for 1 1/2 years.
He learned how to potty outside, walks & runs on a leash now😜 travels in car nicely, yet has fear of people🤔
So I got a pooch pouch. Works wonders to acclimate him to noise & the human race🤗

Today is 2 years since my Chewy died from septic because of Banfield negligence! A horrific experience and one that I will tell every pet owner!
