Good evening, fellow doggy lovers!! We finally got our smaller bags in for our super healthy dog treats. These are all of the freeze dried chicken hearts and freeze dried beef liver that we just got ready today.

At Dog Crazy Crew, our treats have been doggy tested and dog mom approved!!

We are housed inside Carol’s Crafty Crew, 405 Radio City Drive, North Pekin, Illinois.

Good morning, fellow doggy lovers!! We have not used this page in awhile. We are going to be carrying some new items, including healthy freeze dried raw dog treats and a food topper. We plan to start using this page for the business aspects of Dog Crazy Crew and continue to use the group to brighten your day!!
We know it will take a little while to get used to this, but we will try to keep you informed here and our main store group, Carol’s Crafty Crew - Handmade Crafters.

Good afternoon, everyone! I can’t believe it’s already the second day of June. I think I blinked and May was gone.
It’s that time of year for pesky bugs that can cause problems for your dogs. I hate using toxic medicines and bug sprays on my dogs. I have created an essential oil based flea and tick spray for dogs. You can find it at my store, ’s Crafty Crew - Handmade Crafts.

Good morning, my doggy loving friends!! Have you started flea and tick treatment for your dogs, yet? It is that time of year to make sure that nothing happens to your babies. They should also be on heartworm preventative.
I'm a big supporter of all natural for my dogs. I make flea and tick spray that works really well at keeping the pests away from my dogs. They aren't outside a whole lot, though.
Don't forget to check your dog's skin frequently to make sure they have not gotten into any kind of poison or that they are not allergic to some of the allergens that are outdoors, especially this time of year.

Look at this sweet little face!! How can this trigger such rudeness and plain hateful comments?!
So sad!!

3 days ago, we posted Chestnut as a boxer mix. He was transferred into TAPS from another shelter and that is what his paperwork listed as his breed. He could be a mix of anything, yes, even pitbull. 

Today, his post blew up with pure hatred resulting in 27 comments being deleted and posters blocked. Eventually, we had to turn comments off. Sadly, there has been a lot of hate lately both on our pages and other shelter/rescue groups, and it is the animals that pay the price through extended shelter stays and worse, euthanasia at shelters across the country because there is no space. While keyboard warriors type away, animals pay the price.

This page has no room for hate, breed discrimination and inflammatory comments. They will be deleted and posters permanently blocked. No exceptions.

If you don’t like pitbulls, then don’t apply to adopt one. If you think we got the breed wrong on an animal, you can make a simple comment suggesting it may be another breed.  if you don’t like the breed that you think the animal may be,  that is OK, that is your personal opinion, but we are not tolerating calls for total bans and euthanasia of specific breeds on this page If you think we are illegally harboring stray animals, call the police or animal control but don’t make a push for people to come to TAPS and break into the shelter and open all of our cages and let the animals out.

We are saving lives, including the life of Sweet Chestnut, who was chained to a tree without food, water or shelter… and yet no matter how he was treated by humans he has nothing but love for anyone he encounters. if you join us in our daily fight to be their voice, we invite you to share, comment and post. 

Chestnut is still looking for a home and if you are looking for a new addition to your home, we encourage you to consider adopting him.

Good morning, Crew‼️ It’s the start of a brand new week with lots opportunities. I hope you all get to do something you love, like cuddling with your dog or taking him/her for a ride.

Good morning, Crew! Happy Wednesday!
To follow up on the seatbelt post, we had several people recognize that a doggy seatbelt should never be used with a collar. This could cause serious injury, and even death!! I want to make sure that everyone who buys a seatbelt from me knows that it must be used with a harness.
Now that I post this, I can’t find pictures of the new ones I have ready. I will try to get pictures and add to the post. This is a picture of a matching set of Jeep collar, 6’ leash and seatbelt that I am making for an order.

Such a touching story!! 💞

70-year-old Francis Romero was in a coma in hospital. His dog was allowed to stay with him, and did not leave him day or night. After a month Francis woke up from the coma with the words:
"Where is the white angel who constantly whispered that everything would be all right?"
