Muffin Montage
It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to Muffin. With all of the compassion we've shown her over the years, we wouldn't want to fail her now. Saturday morning, Muffin will cross the Rainbow Bridge. We are using this week to say goodbye. If you have not had the chance to read her story, it is attached to this post. Thank you all so much for the donations and the love you have poured out to her.
THE STORY OF MUFFIN
On a Tuesday afternoon in the autumn of 2012, Muffin came through the doors of the North Plains Veterinary Clinic and into the hearts of those that came to love her. This is her story.
In early October of 2012, a longtime client brought in a white cat that had presumably been hit by a car and despite not being able to walk had found its way to the client’s driveway. He rushed the cat into our clinic. Unfortunately this cat was far beyond any medical aid short of the humane ending of its suffering which was performed with the greatest alacrity as an errand of mercy and compassion.

Our collective sympathy was such that we wanted her to know that in the very end there was indeed someone who cared, someone who loved, and that somehow she would leave this world knowing so. She was given an injection to allay her pain, gently cleaned off, dried, her larger wounds tended to, placed in a
Things have been pretty busy around here, but not so busy that we miss out on treats :)
Merry Christmas Eve Eve! From all of us to all of you, we wish you a very happy holiday season.
