Update on the 6:00-7:00 Skills n Drills class. ⚡️FULL⚡️
Actually over-full😵‍💫 . I have Kerri(x2), Angie, Lois, Shana(x2), Heidi, Tracie(x2), Sue, Cindy G.

Same night but class will run from 7:15-8:15. If anyone from the 6-7 class wants to be flexible and attend 7:15-8:15 you will probably get more course and one on one time. I have Karan currently in that class.

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼New Skills n Drills Class👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We are going to start a new four week session on Monday 8/19. 6-7. This will teach new content. Classes will be held 8/19, 9/2, 9/9, & 9/16. We will fill 8 dog spots only. I will go by chronological order of receiving your message that you want a spot(s). $60 each spot. If we need to add a class we may look at that. These classes are geared for people who have taken our Intermediate class or with teacher approval. Please note if WE must cancel a class due to weather we will offer an alternative night to do a make-up trying to work with the majority. There will be no individual make-ups otherwise. It’s a quick four classes. Message or post here your request. Let me know if you are open/flexible to do a later class that same evening if we can swing that. No guarantees.

So our winner for Myra’s litter size is Karla Janacek’s guess of 5. Sadly the only little boy was not to be and is romping with his grammie in heaven. Here’s a picture of the babies at the milk bar. All doing well. Congrats Jacque, Kent and marvelous Myra. And Karla, you get a “well done!”

*******NEBRASKA REPRESENTS**********
Help us offer a state basket at 2024 NADAC Championships in Gillette, Wyoming the end of September. These baskets are a yearly fundraiser awarded through raffle tickets purchased. This may be the first Nebraska basket ever. Donations can be brought to Double M. This is not a representation from Double M but from proud Nebraskans who love agility. I’m posting pictures of last years baskets. They are amazing! Items don’t have to be dog stuff. We will put in some crafted Nebraska beer and a Lazy RW product. If someone wants to donate those that is perfect. Let me know.
So far we have a 10x10 canopy, a portable camping table, a basket with toys, a fold-up doggy pool. We are hoping the soft sided crates that go on special at Menards will go on sale so we can snag one. Miscellaneous gift cards are great too. Tarin Tederman Burrows is also helping with this project. Let’s do this!

What a crazy fun trial held by Agility Club of Central Wyoming (Casper). Sway did me proud as Friday we got 2 qualifying Grounders to finish her Open title. Then Saturday we went 3 for 6 and today 5 for 6 and finished our Open tunnelers title. Ten of eighteen runs is a first ever for me in one weekend. I’m just in awe of her and she makes me so proud. Picture shows her opinion at 4:00 today of her bling.😂🩷

It’s time to guess how many puppies Myra is having. Myra is due August 12th. Here are the two most recent pictures. Very different depending on angles. Jacque says she sounds like Darth Vader when she lays down. This is for fun and I haven’t asked about the X-rays or ultrasound. Again, just a game. I’ll post one more picture next week and you can edit to a new number if you want. Let’s have some fun and send positive thoughts that all goes well. 🩷

At TJ Maxx the large is $5.99. I got a medium for $4.99. They even have a tinier one the size of a baseball. Prices are really good even compared to Amazon. These are great to use as a throwing toy, like the tugs, and are pretty sturdy for tugging. Alternating toys when training is a good thing.

This stuff is good for relationship building and helps your dog use its brain. Just searching on YouTube or going to her FB page can show you quite a bit.

I just got this from Dee about she and Riley. She is excited and proud and I want to share that stuff. Go Team!

➡️Just an update from this weekend. Friday Riley did her Rally course good enough to Q so now we’re done with Rally with her Masters title!!!! Yesterday was a first-she Q’d in all 5 of her runs!!! We were both totally tired after so today we stayed at our son’s place & watched Olympics. Lol. Figured she did well enough for one weekend!!!!! So proud of her!!!⬅️

Skills and Drills students we are preping our training building for the heat putting in the a/c units. The class will go on inside and possibly only go outside for just a bit, if at all. There’s tons we can do in an indoor classroom setting to get ya learning.

We are going to also open up a Tuesday night Skills & Drills class as the Wednesday is pretty much filled. It will start next week, July 30th at 7:00. If you are currently in the Wednesday night class and want to switch please let me know quickly. Cost is $60 for the four weeks. Anyone that has graduated our Beginner class on up can sign up. We will work around all skill levels of Intermediate/Advanced.

🔜🔜🔜New SKILLS AND DRILLS CLASS!
We are on our way home, fresh from our seminar and trialing and ready to teach.
We are offering a 4 week Skills and Drills class to start Wednesday, July 31st. This is being offered to Intermediate and Advanced students. Yes if you just completed Beginner class you can sign up. We will work with the different ability levels. Please practice your off leash/recall skills if taking the class. Dates for the classes are July 31, August 7, 14, and 21.
Cost will be $60. To try and beat the heat we will start at 7:00 pm and go for 60 to 75
minutes depending on class size, which is limited to 10. If we decide to go over that the class will be longer in time than 60 minutes. Handlers with multiple dogs will be limited to two and must pay for two spots. We are not discontinuing Wednesday Advanced class but will revisit that resuming in the fall. Act fast by sending me a message here if you want a spot.

Proof paying $0, $50, $500, $5000 doesn’t decide the value of your dog. What YOU do can make a difference, not always impeccable breeding. This boy, Remi, was supposed to be thrown in the river by a rancher who said he was no good for working livestock. This handler rescued him at the last moment. What a team!
