Summer temps here in Florida are already in full swing. This is just a few things to keep in mind. Remember walking first thing in the morning and later in the evening is the best for you dogs feet! Not only is hot asphalt painful it can also be dangerous. Dogs sweet and cool through their feet. Walking on hot asphalt can not only burn their feet but overheat them as well.

🥰🥰 Naja & Toby 🥰🥰 I have been grooming these two for years now. Through two salons, a move and finally ended up with house call in their home. It's such a privilege to love on these two as well as their sibling Bubba occasionally. Bubba really isn't a fan so we only do what we need to when it's needed.

Over the years one of most frequently asked question I have received is how do you know when to stop during a nail trim.

The black dot in the center of these nails is the quick. Obviously every single dog is different and they will not all look like this.

This pup had his nail trimmed, then filed down with a dremmel to get them this short. He is a senior pet whose feet hurt terribly if his nails get too long.

Short nails not only help to not drive you crazy from the tapping on the floor but also helps your dog feel their best!

* Nail trimming is included with every groom, nail grinding is performed only on pets who tolerate it well.

My style of Grooming 🐶🐩

After well over a decade of grooming, housecall has got to be hands down my favorite way to groom. Dogs are typically more relaxed in their own environment and tend to handle grooming better. It also takes out the need for a car ride, which some dogs are not fans of. With housecall grooming I bring the salon to you! The only thing I require is a space to wash your pup as well as a space near an outlet to set up table.

I also groom restrain free. Which often takes dogs a couple of appointments to get used to but all typically do much better without being tied to the table.

Clients are prebooked on a 4-6 week schedule. Which not only keeps them always looking their best but also reinforces grooming as a positive experience.
