Please help us find Momma a home!!!
Momma is the stray that was living outside our house this summer. We took her in and she had 4 precious kittens. Momma was rehomed but was returned because she wasn’t getting along with small dogs. Momma is VERY VERY SWEET. She LOVES people and is getting along with our larger dogs (with limited exposure) but we think she would do best in a home by herself (with no other dogs or cats). If you know anyone looking to get a sweet cat that loves to sit on your lap, cuddle and play… please let us know! She is fully vaccinated and scheduled to be spayed in March. She is also 100% litter box trained. Please share this post and help us find this princess the forever home she deserves.

As 2023 comes to an end, we can’t help but reminisce about the last year.
Bella, Brady, Maddie and Copper blessed 20 amazing families with a Life is Ruff puppy. We couldn’t be more grateful for the awesome families that received one of our puppies and we can’t thank you enough for taking such great care of them all. We know they are being spoiled every day and living their absolute best lives (Finney 🤍, Kya 💛, Pebbles ❤️, Winter 💚, Abby 💙, Serenity 🧡, Oliver 💙, Lido 💛, Tucker 🤍, Winston 🖤, Mango 💜, Skye 🖤, Maxine 💜, Maisy 🤍, Leia 💛, Odin 🤎, Brooks❤️, Jax 💙, Miller 💕and Maverick 🤎).
We unexpectedly saved a litter of kittens and their mom. Our stray, Momma, was seen on our outdoor cameras very pregnant. We trapped her and set her up a nice, quiet whelping area where she had 4 beautiful, healthy kittens. All of them have been adopted into amazing homes and are being treated like the little kings and queens they are. We were fortunate enough to keep 2 in our own home to forever spoil (Boo, Meatball, Sake, Jack and Jill).
We had an awesome meet up with 13 dogs! Thank you to everyone who came out to our July 4th pool party. Although we all got soaked (haha) it was so fun to see the pups run, play, swim and be together again. We would love to have another meet up in the near future!
Our sweet Bella retired this year. She was an amazing mom and will forever spend the rest of her life with us….. spoiled. Bella was diagnosed with a low grade mammary carcinoma this year. Fortunately it was caught very early. Bella had a mastectomy of the affected breast with clear margins. Luckily the treatment for this type of cancer is strictly surgery. Aside from regular monthly breast exams to check for recurrence and yearly wellness checks, Bella lives a completely normal life chasing lizards and squirrels. We will continue to monitor her but hope it was just a one time occurrence.

UPDATE- LIDO has been adopted!
AVAILABLE PUPPY!! We have a rare adoption opportunity. One of our pups was returned to us from the recent Bella X Brady litter. His name is Lido (Mr Gold 💛) and he is 7.5 months old.
Lido was well taken care of by his family. He is your very typical happy-go-lucky, cuddly, goofy golden who loves all people, dogs, cats and kids. Lido was vet checked on Tuesday and is completely healthy (physical exam, stool/heart worm tests). We are sending Lido to a 3 week board-and-train starting this Friday with Amanda @to the rescue dog training to ensure he has good manners prior to being rehomed.
Lido would truly do well in any active, responsible home as it seems he has no dislikes or fears. Our ideal home for Lido would be a home that has a dog or friendly cat already (he loves to play with our dogs and cats) and a swimming pool (he LOVES to swim!). Although these would be great for Lido, they are not deal breakers for his adoption.
Our standard rehoming fee applies to Lido's adoption. With Lido ALL the hard work of having a puppy is done. He is fully vaccinated, potty trained and crate trained. He comes with his AKC paperwork and from fully health tested parents (Pennhip, OFA and DNA). Parents are on premises. In addition to his previous family having covered all his vaccines, food, heartworm meds and vet visits the last 5 months, we are covering his board-and-train ($3000 value alone). The board-and-train is based off of AKC's Canine Good Citizen program. It is the same training all of our dogs have received. Lido is not neutered and we will not be neutering him prior to leaving. We believe large breed dogs shouldn’t be spayed or neutered until they are fully developed (around 18-24 months).

Rosie
Happy 1st birthday to our crazy, energetic, sassy, stubborn, goofy, incredibly sweet Rosie. Rosie has brought us so much joy over the past year (and maybe a few gray hairs🤣!)
Rosie is a water loving machine. She has been swimming since she was 9 weeks old and there is absolutely no other place she rather be than in and more so under water. She loves all people and animals. She is an amazing escape artist. She loves stealing shoes and running around the yard with them. When it’s time to settle down at night, there is no other place she rather be than cuddled up next to her humans. Rosie has been an amazing addition to our family and we just love this sweet princess so much 🥰
Rosie has mastered swimming underwater. She is diving down 6 feet (to the bottom of the pool) with ease. The world record is 13 feet. All of our pups absolutely adore each other, the cats, people, kids, etc. They constantly play, cuddle, swim, run and literally do everything together.
They have a very special bond but we do notice one bond stronger than the others- mom and daughter. Bella and Abby (top) are inseparable. They do everything together. They even sleep next to each other (in our bed) in the same positions. If Bella is on her back, Abby is on her back. They are the cutest little duo and we absolutely love watching them grow together.
PUPDATE!! Brooks (Mr Ruby ❤️) and Jax (Mr Sapphire 💙) have been busy! These guys not only see each other often for play dates but they have become movie stars ⭐️! Brooks and Jax were featured in a recent commercial for Spot Pet Insurance (be on the lookout!). They took turns playing the role. They did such a great job! Mom and dad are so proud of them and def think they deserve an Oscar!
Aside from being movie stars, these guys live separate lives in Miami with their dads but do get together often for playdates.
Jax’s 💙 dad says he is pretty much potty and crate trained. He’s very lanky and tall and getting darker by the day. He’s grown to be a big cuddler and has to always be touching dad’s feet whether it’s under a desk or anywhere in the house. Jax recently discovered he can bark and loves to let everyone know 😂 The Kong bone is his favorite toy and he can’t wait for his final round of shots in 2 weeks so he can start going for walks in Miami. One of his favorite things to do is sit on the balcony and watch the cars and people outside.
Brooks❤️ is so smart according to his dad. He has been so easy to train and learns very quickly. If you had to rank Brooks’ 3 favorite things in order, it would be: 1) other dogs 2) humans 3) treats/food. Nothing makes him happier than playing with his brother, Jax. Brooks loves affection. When he gets sleepy, he is very cuddly. When he’s not cuddling, his favorite place to sleep is on pillows. He also really likes watching tv 😂 Brooks is very excited to explore Miami in a few weeks as well!!

PUPDATE!!! Odin (Mr Mocha 🤎) and Leia (Miss Gold 💛) are doing awesome in their new homes!
Odin 🤎 lives in Miami. He is doing really well and loves to go full zoomies outside in the grass. He hasn’t grasped the full concept of fetch with a ball but he will bring back a toy when thrown for a bit, but then his attention goes elsewhere. He’s a very curious pup and likes watching the squirrels and lizards in the backyard but this curiosity stops when water is involved, which he’s not fully comfortable with yet. He is a lap puppy through and through and must be around a human all the time or at least in proximity. He’s doing well on crate training and is great in the car on his roadtrips to see his sister. Odin loves belly rubs and still has a tiny white patch on his chest.
Leia 💛 lives in Key Largo. She is super loving & likes to cuddle. When she’s feisty she likes tug a war & to run around through her tunnels after jumping in the doggie pool. She likes to go for rides in her bike kennel. She loves playing with Odin & likes to watch her 2 sister cats through the baby gate. She’s super intelligent & knows sit, down, stay & come. She’s very food motivated & loves green beans, celery, carrots & apples as a treat. Leia’s parents are hoping to get her to be a kayak dog!
The pups spend almost every weekend together! It is so cool to see siblings getting together often for playdates!! Leia and Odin are off to Amanda with @totherescuedogtraining tomorrow for a 3 week puppy boot camp! We can’t wait for updates and to see how the little munchkins do with training!
PUPDATE! Maisy (Miss Silver 🤍) has settled into her new home nicely. Mom says she is very smart and full of personality. She knows sit, stay, wait, come. She is doing really well with potty training. She has mastered her puzzle toy already. She absolutely loves her big sister, Bella. Mom finds them playing and cuddling often. She was introduced to the pool. She enjoys the water but really likes getting in and out of the pool float. She even tries jumping off the float. She is still a big eater and enjoys literally sitting in the fridge 😂
Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸
The pups spent their morning doing their first ever dock diving experience! Rosie, Brady and his two sons- Lido 💛 and Tucker 🤍 all participated. Today they were introduced to the water, ramp and dive plateform. Notice at the end of the video, the dogs knew to go up the ramp to get out and immediately to the steps to go for another jump. The pups all did great!!! Brady is a true natural and was jumping around 13 feet today. His son, Tucker 🤍, is following right in his footsteps and had some super impressive first jumps! Rosie has a natural love for water. She was not only jumping but diving under water as well. Lido 💛was recently introduced to the water so he spent the day swimming and collecting toys in the pool. Such a fun experience! We look forward to many more jumps and eventually want to participate in competitions.
Yesterday’s puppy meet up was SO fun and def a bigger turn out than expected for such short notice!! A special thanks to all the families for taking the time to stop by. It truly means the world to us to be able to see you and the pups again. In total there were 13 dogs, 7 were Bella’s puppies- 3 from her first litter (Wally 🤎, Loki 🧡, Abby 💕) and 4 from her second litter with Brady (Lido 💛, Oliver 💙, Tucker 🤍, Kya 💛). Also a special thank you to Zoe and Tucker #2 for stopping by. Of course our very own Brady, Rosie and Maddie enjoyed the festivities as well.

PUPDATE! Miller (Mr Pink 💕) is doing wonderful and his family couldn’t be happier with him. Hobbies include body slamming his big sister, splashing in mud puddles after the rain and EATING! He knows “sit”, “wait”—for food, and is quickly learning “stay”. He has very minimal accidents and has mastered the doggie door. Miller has also learned how to climb on the kitchen table 🤦🏽♀️ He absolutely loves his big sister and wants to be wherever she is. Mom says he is just SO cute and sweet 💕 In the video is Miller living his best life.
PUPDATE!!! Skye (Miss Black 🖤) is very smart and is learning quickly. She is over 15 lbs now! She loves to play and still loves biting pant legs 🤦🏽♀️. She has become more and more affectionate with each passing day. She is doing well with house training, still not 100% there yet but improving daily. She has been great with new people, dogs and loves ice cubes. Skye has learned sit and come. She is getting pretty good with stay and is working on learning down and walking on a leash. She will be starting puppy training school soon. She goes in the pool and has an excellent appetite! Her parents just adore her! In the video is Skye having some fun with the water and trying to pick a fight with the vacuum 😂
PUPDATE!!! Maverick (Mr Beige 🤎) is doing awesome in his new home! According to his parents he is eating great, never misses a meal and is very patient while waiting for his food. He will sit and wait until his bowl is put in front of him then will slowly eat. They also say he is very smart! Maverick hasn’t been a huge fan of the crate. He has gotten better over time but does prefer to hang out, sleep and play with his brother Loki instead. He is already full on swimming! When it’s time to get out he will either cuddle up with a family member (one of his most favorite things to do!) or sunbath on a towel. He wants his cat sister to love him but she won’t give him the time of day…. Yet. 😂
In the video you can see Maverick going for a swim, getting some training in and snuggling up with his brother Loki. At our home, Maverick did not go in the water at all. He was always busy playing with the other pups. We were pleasantly surprised to see him swimming so soon!
