Dog of the month
Dog of the month! Meet Josie!
She’s a border terrier showcasing one of our hand-strip groomings! It’s a little less common to see this breed and we are lucky enough to have 3 that come here regularly.
This particular girl only comes to see us a couple times a year, so she shows up in full coat and gets a massive strip down. Her coat is made for this and she truly enjoys the attention on her spa day
💜🍉🥰
Teddy
Introducing our dog of the month, Teddy!
Teddy is one of our friendliest most cooperative easy going guys that is always a fantastic before and after!
He loves to roll on the ground and get himself as filthy as possible between appointments but we don’t mind because that means we get to use our magical whitening shampoo! Seeing his transformation from dirty gray into a handsome white coat every visit is so satisfying 🤩
Dog of the month
Introducing our little lass, Bonnie for our March Dog of the Month this Irish holiday weekend ☘️
She’s one of the happiest girls, distracting us nonstop with her adorable head tilts and a tail that never stops! It’s always a great day when Bonnie is in the salon! 💚☘️💚
Maude
Introducing our first 2024 dog of the month!
This is Maude, she’s a mature and rather petite little Scottie who has been through some things! She’s had both an eye, and half of an ear removed but has maintained her peppy personality none the less. Not many dogs in Florida sport a coat that reaches the floor but this girl has the style and grace to pull it off.
She is loved to bits by us, and makes us smile every time we see her! 💜
Lorenzo
Dog of the month! Finishing out the year strong is this handsome stud, Lorenzo!
He’s a very smart and loyal wire fox terrier that gets hand stripped every 4 weeks.
Hand stripping is a process where the hairs are pulled as opposed to cut. Many terriers and some sporting dogs have coats made particularly for this kind of grooming. It dictates the length and texture of the coat and keeps the skin exfoliated and strong.
It’s a treat getting to do a historically traditional style of grooming. We love this little guy!
Happy Thanksgiving from our dog of the month!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING,
Both from us, and our Dog of the Month!
Introducing Jaxson, the Kerry Blue Terrier!
He’s a seasonal guy that I wish would never leave 🥹. If you know the typical terrier stubborn and bossy personalities this breed is high up on those character traits. Jaxson has had incredible training and is provided with consistency that has made him the most polite and loving gentleman with excellent manners and listening skills. The bonus for me is that I get to do an actual (modified) breed standard cut for him.
He’s a bigger boy and takes extra time but I love every moment he’s on my table! I’m grateful for the love and trust he and his person extend to me year after year!
Our September dog of the month! TATE!
Our September dog of the month! TATE!
AKA tater, tatertot, taterbug, tay-tow, tatums.
Although we do have a healthy handful of pups that are super excited to see us Tate takes the cake! He’s one of our best friends and we feel confident in saying he feels the same. You may have seen him playing since he comes in for daycare often and gets out EVERY toy, and is polite to every dog. He has gently brought other shy dogs out of their shell and gotten them to play or at least feel more relaxed. We appreciate his kindness and welcoming demeanor and love how much time we get to spend with him. We are pretty sure he’d live with us if his mom let him! 🐶🎾🦴🥰
Dog of the month!
Introducing the unbelievably handsome
Mr. Blendin, a Scottish Terrier from Arkansas, who got his name from blending into the dark so well his family thought they lost him, and he was right in front of them the whole time!
Somehow his breeder recommended me as his groomer for his amazing family! I don’t know how I got so lucky but he is not just gorgeous, he’s smart, sweet, and has an excellent temperament. He quickly became one of my favorites for a whole list of reasons. He’s an absolute lover, and I could not adore him more!
