Hi! My name is Malinda Leone Costa and I have been a Certified Pet Stylist for over 12 years. I am also a Certified Dog Trainer as well as Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid and a long standing member of NEPGP (New England Pet Groomer Professionals). My love of all animals from childhood led me to this career that allows me show off my skill and knowledge that I am so happy to share with the community. I am the proud owner of this new unique Pet Salon and I welcome you to our page. Now that you know a little about me, let me tell you about other Stylists at Sassy Paws Pet Styles. This salon has been the talk of the town for dog and cat owners, and we’ve earned it! Now about how the Salon works with appointments. Let me first start by letting you know that if your dog has even been at the groomer for more than 4 hours (and that’s a stretch for most dogs) it’s been sitting in a cage for 80% of the time. For some pet owners it works, but for most it is stressful and inconvenient. At Sassy Paws that is not the case. ALL of our appointments are booked to have your pet done start-finish, no sitting in cage for hours while he or she could be hungry, or wanting to go potty, or just plain nervous and scared. At my salon when your fur-baby walks IN the door with its tail wagging our main goal is to also have he or she walk OUT with its tail still wagging. Our client’s (your pets) will receive the same love and attention our pets receive while they are in our care. Most grooming appointments for a well maintained coat on your dog takes on average 90minutes. A full service grooming includes Brushing, Nail Trimming and Filing, Ear Cleansing and Plucking if necessary, Two Massaging Baths and Styling to Breed Specification or Client Request. Sometimes maintenance can get away from you, it happens to us too, and extra brushing or dematting may be necessary but that’s not a problem for us. Our low volume, clean, and calm salon, and friendly attitudes will help keep your pooch cool and calm for any extra time in our care. Another great thing about Sassy Paws is we are CAGE FREE! That’s right, as long as your pooch is dog and people friendly he or she will get to prance around on our cool gripped rubber floors while playing with toys and greeting other friends. If your pooch isn’t such a big fan or strangers (dog or human) that is not a problem because our appointments are start to finish and there isn’t much need to be caged. We are always willing to accommodate for “special needs” pets, so if you would like any more information on our policies please feel free to call and chat with us. Please keep in mind that Sassy Paws Stylists tend to stay booked out on average 2-3 weeks in advance but if you have a date in mind or would like to be placed on a Waiting List we would love to hear from you!
