I just got Tonka’s photos back, they turned out so good! This sweet boy was saved off the EU list at just 7 months old for being “hard to handle” he wasn’t hard to handle, he was just terrified. He’s grown into a really well behaved handsome amazing boy!! Potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, SUPER loving and sweet. Gets along with everyone. Tonka is looking for his forever home. Montana Pittie Project sent us some swag! Blake is happy and wants to see more,

MPP rescues hundreds of dogs a year from out of state and transports them to the PNW to place where shelters are empty. Those women are doing amazing things and deserve a lot of credit! Make sure you follow and donate to them!

I wanted to say thank you for all of the support and helping me make this an amazing event. There were a few places for improvement, but overall what a success! I could not have done it without you all, y'all know who you were that helped.. The list is far too long to put everyone on here, but if you had a hand in it, I appreciate you. Thank you to the sponsors, thank you to the participants, thank you to the food vendors and a VERY special thank you to Saving Hope Rescue & Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance for being part of this.

We raised nearly $4,000.00 in total between merch sales, entry fees, and donations. Now that may not sound like a lot of money to some, but it goes a long way! That's 10 heartworm treatments. That's 40 spay and neuters. that's 400 annual vaccinations for animals in their care.

This will be the first of many. We are already planning next years events! Where are our rescue friends in other cities? We are coming for you! Austin? San Antonio? Houston? I plan on being part of the solution to the animal welfare issues all over Texas. Can't wait until the next one!!

Let’s make it bigger and bigger each year!!! Thank you all for coming out, it means a lot to me.

From all of us here at FWAAA, a heartfelt ❤️THANK YOU❤️ to Chris and everyone at Rides & Rescues for a LIFE CHANGING event this past weekend. When we say life changing, we mean LIFE CHANGING!!! Over $2,400 raised for abandoned and neglected animals at the 1st annual Rides & Rescues. We can’t wait to be apart of the 2nd, 5th, 10th annual… can you imagine the lives we will be saving then?!

It’s no secret that the state of our economy has left nonprofits like us in a tough spot, but every day people like Chris, people like our volunteers, restore our hope and remind us what we are fighting for. Now let’s save some dogs❤️.

We are just 9 days from our event and I wanted to highlight Kombi Keg Fort Worth. they were the first food service truck to commit to us and believe in the mission.

they have an awesome setup for any event, from weddings to corporate events, They’re a must have in their old school VW Bus with keg taps!

They’ll be serving FREE drinks all day for us!! tips are welcomed! (Non alcoholic since we are at a school, sorry 😜)

Picked up all 24 of our trophies today!!!! I’m really excited about how it’s all coming together!!

The First Annual Rides & Rescues Charity Car Show is almost here! November 13th will be here before we know it, just 2 weeks away and all the plans are finalized. We are so excited for this event and to see everyone. Event details below:

Open to the public starting at 11am, but Registration for all the car show participants will start at 9:30am until noon, awards at 2:30pm!
You may preregister on the ParkUpFront app or by emailing [email protected] or calling 817-901-3100.
Entry fee per ride is $20 & $30 for VIP (free shirt included for all VIP participants)

We have over 22 trophies to give out, plus “best in show” for the best car and truck overall. Everyone bring your rides - from classics to motorcycles, to imports and exotics, everyone is welcome!!

Food: The Patriotic Pig will be slinging BBQ from their food truck, La Bandida Street Food is serving up 5th generation street tacos, Kombi Keg Fort Worth will have drinks on tap and Limoges Coffee has us covered for coffee!

Adoptions: Saving Hope Rescue & Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance will have a lot of dogs for everyone to meet and greet. You’ll see first hand why donating, fostering and adopting is so important.

I am truly blown away by everyone’s support and belief in our mission to save all the animals. I won’t stop until every shelter is below 10% capacity. I love y’all and I can’t wait to see everyone at the car show!

We added another food truck to our event!! The Patriotic Pig is going to be the BBQ truck for our first annual event. Super excited for them to be apart of this. We are only 5 weeks away now, so everyone mark your calendars!!
