Happy 13th Birthday Porkchop! 🎉🎂

Our hearts are bursting as we celebrate the one and only ✨Porkchop✨, our VA Emily’s perfect best friend.

For 13 amazing years, this handsome guy has been spreading joy, snuggles, and tail wags to all those he approves of 😂.

From puppy zoomies to senior snoozes, every moment with Porkchop has been a gift. We’re so lucky to know him and love him.

Happy 13th Birthday, sweet boy! You’ve left paw prints on all our hearts.

This sweet boy came in today with advanced periodontal disease and years of plaque buildup. After a full dental cleaning, some extractions, (and a whole lot of TLC), he’s leaving with a healthier smile!

Dental disease is one of the most common health issues in pets, and many dogs and cats suffer in silence without showing obvious signs. Regular cleanings — especially for pets who’ve never had one — are so important for their overall health, comfort, and longevity.

Don’t wait until there’s bad breath, bleeding gums, or tooth loss. Preventive care saves teeth (and lives)!

This April, Banfield NRH is hosting a dog & cat food drive to help our local shelter pets. It’s parvo season, and our local shelters are bracing for an influx of sick babies who will need extra care—and full bellies—while they fight to get better. Our community has the biggest hearts, and now is the time to come together for the animals who need us most.

If you’re visiting us from April 1 to April 30, please consider donating a bag or can of Royal Canin GI food by adding it to your invoice at checkout. It’s an easy way to give, and every donation goes directly to feed a shelter dog or cat in need. No pet recovering from illness or waiting for a forever home should have to go hungry, and together we can make sure they don’t.

Your kindness and compassion can make a real difference for these pets. A small act of generosity—just one extra item on your invoice—can fill an empty bowl and give a sick or homeless animal hope. Thank you for helping us support our shelter friends when they need it most. ❤️
