2024 Solar Eclipse Pet Safety

Just a friendly reminder - during a solar eclipse, it's a good idea to keep your furry friends indoors. The sun's rays can be harmful to their eyes, and the sudden change in light might spook them. Many pets react to eclipses just like they do to fireworks or thunderstorms.

I will be set up at our annual CERA Arts Festival next weekend, 10/14 and 10/15, in the Trinity Room at CERA on Bryant Irvin Road in Fort Worth. This event helps fund our pottery studio along with a chance to buy some really amazing handmade creations - not just pottery - either for yourself or for someone else cause Christmas is coming up soon! There's nothing like a beautiful handmade item so come on out and see us for this 2-day indoor event and make sure you stop by and say Hi before you leave!

In addition, there will also be two amazing food trucks parked in the parking lot close to the Trinity River (Miss George Grilled Cheese plus breakfast this year and Duck Duck Scoop with their specialty ice cream sundaes/shakes topped with their little signature duck on top) so don't worry about eating breakfast or lunch or dessert ahead of time cause they will take care of you!

You can also purchase in our pottery studio an already bisque-fired piece of pottery, glaze it yourself, and have one of our kiln team members raku fire it for you to take home that day. Hope to see you on Saturday and/or Sunday next weekend!
